Plan B - Have we got one this year?

Maybe L2 is his level? Just thinking aloud that it might be an option for us. Certainly prefer Stokes at LB.

Plan B - Have we got one this year?

However we would probably score more goals as Haynes is a better outlet than Stokes. Given though that the first priority of a left back is to defend, I wouldn't mind seeing Haynes in front of Stokes taking up a left midfield/wing position. Would be a different option for us and take some of the...

The 'not so obvious' hot babes thread!

Hope there wasn't heavy snow at the Ricoh. Otherwise she might have an Ulrika moment and report that she had a good 8 inches last night.

    This weeks WC qualifiers

WC Qualifiers Tonight's game: Armitage Shanks v Saniflo No doubt the winner will be flushed with success.

    Accrington away

Well don't be embarrassed tucking into the tripe barms washed down with half a pint of Benedictine :emoji_relaxed: You don't get that at Anfield or Stamford Bridge.

Bolton up for sale at 25 million

I think the majority of this (c.£170m) is due to former owner Eddie Davies who bankrolled the Club during the Allardyce years and onwards. Also the Warburton family are involved in there somewhere. When Ken Anderson 'rescued' the Club a couple of years ago, I'm sure the phrase 'debt free' was...

Bolton up for sale at 25 million

Think it would get you the Stadium, training ground and Hotel, but maybe not the car park park or offices. There are also creditors to be considered and whether these would be settled within the £25m. Also some concerns about possible future payments due to former owner Eddie Davies linked to...

    Accrington away

Accrington are averaging home league crowds this season of 1,600 (including away fans) so I should imagine we will be outnumbering the home support. PS. I sat with the 154 Accrington fans for their game at Crewe last season and they're a good bunch. Looking forward to a week on Saturday.

    Accrington away

First fixture I looked for when they came out. Getting the rattler up from Crewe to Preston, picked up by son no.1, his mate and son no.2, then by car to Accrington. Two Sky Blues and 2 Reds in the car should be interesting. Then hopefully a lift back to Preston.

    Good old films

That's me cheered up on a Monday morning, can face the week now! Ms Bastedo certainly had an interesting life. Despite early fame and fortune with The Champions, she seemed to shun the limelight and a celebrity lifestyle. I remember her co-hosting the Miss World contest back in the 70s, a...

    Ticket Prices

To judge if the Marketing at CCFC is effective, you would need to have sight of the overall business plan, marketing, margin expectation, available resources, etc. Otherwise it's too easy to gripe and moan from the sidelines. From what I've experienced, there's been a marked improvement in our...

    Ticket Prices

Would have thought Mansfield was exactly the wrong game to target. They are riding high and are likely to bring a fair few. Don't see the point in discounting at what will probably be one of our highest attendances so far.

    Finally some good news

Whether there's a rise or not, one thing for certain is that when I come to renew the fixed rate deal in December, there will be an arrangement fee to pay to the Bank.

    Ticket Prices

Would probably need to sell an extra 1000+ tickets @ £15 for Forest Green just to break even, in all likelihood we would be lucky to sell an extra 100. Just becomes a race to the bottom. And what happens at the next home game when there is no price incentive?

    Coventry RFC Thread 18/19

I think DMP are a surprise package of sorts, building on an established squad from last season with some solid recruitment during the summer. Also have good links with Newcastle in the top league. Not sure if they have the staying power and the pedigree of Plymouth is probably the biggest. Would...

    Good old films

Me too Otis, a bit off the wall having a ghost as a leading character but very watchable. Also enjoyed the other ITC shows from that time...Danger Man, The Baron, Department S, The Champions, The Saint, Man in a Suitcase and The Strange Report. Also agree with the Vic Reeves comment, you can...
