MVE might lose out to Caleb in a five.

The only player I've seen so far this season who's cemented his place is Jay.

(I'm not a fan of GK captains, so I've excluded Rushworth for my guaranteed starters).

When everyone's fit, we could try Mfuni at LB and JDS at Left sided midfield/winger.
The first touch and way he took his goal and outpaced his marker was way better than anything weve seen from EMC so far this season.

He has quite simply been our best player so far , was cracking last season too
But his detractors refuse to believe they are wrong , there's another cock that stands by me in block 11 that gives him shit every game , unbelievable!!
 
It was a great example of the calm head and ruthlessness that will be needed this year. We will be on the back foot a lot and have to make the most of our chances as JDS did beautifully

Yeah great finish most strikers would have probably played it on the ground, it would have hit the goalkeepers foot and deflected it wide.

It's not about what he did 4 seasons ago. He was solid last year and looks to be one who has made the step up this year. His touch has always been first class. Im sure most of us would like him to be 6 inches or even a foot taller, but he cant help that and he looks comfortable. Be happy for him and stop doubling down on a shit opinion.

I’m not laughing.

I have said before that, in my opinion, the “wing” part of him being a LWB was the best part of his game although he has improved defensively.

He has more scope to get forward when we play 3 ATB and I think that utilises his skills to best advantage.

You're aware we're not replaying the last three seasons, right? He's been our best player along with Amenda by some distance this season. He's stepped up massively. He was first choice in a team that pissed the league last season. You're either on the windup or haven't got a Scooby. Mad to be talking him down rn.

Jay Dasilva (Coventry): He got their first goal in the Premier League for 25 years. He gets the winning goal, you go in at right-back for that.

No wonder he looked so out of depth when managing FGR

Vivash always claimed that JDS was possibly the best player at the club, and that we had never quite seen the best of him.
Perhaps there is still more to come?

No thanks. He did brilliantly and it was a great run, but it's completely different playing on the wing, you have to play quite a bit with your back to goal. Ironically he wouldn't have been in the position to score had he been on the wing. He'd have been starting higher, and narrower, the beauty of his goal was he was running full speed from a slightly deeper position.
