Not disagreeing, what I said was if they can find time and funds and spaces etc etc to fast track those, then do the same to clear the backlogs so that current cases can be dealt with timely and not years later or after someone has been jailed on remand for a year who might ultimately be innocent.
The remand statistics are awful it’s why there’s a presumption of bail
