My mate is at creamfields this weekend so cant make it, I have said i will take his son along to the match with my son - im going to have to download his season ticket to my phone when it finally comes through and then head ticket office next week to get it on his phone for the next match...

Should defo be an easier way!!
 
Had mine through, clicked on 'Add to wallet' link as normal but link didn't open up the actual ticket until the 5th attempt. Just opened up a browser home page. Might have just been me but letting people on the thread know to persevere. This is on iPhone BTW.

I may have missed it, but the ticket exchange is not even open for tomorrow? You can't pass the ticket on to anyone, and you cannot post it for resale. I know 8 people away on a long-planned trip to celebrate an occasion. Makes no sense for their seats to be empty. I imagine there will be quite a few empty seats tomorrow. Unless they open it today, fair enough, but a bit late (cue people shouting at me 'OMG - 12 hours is plenty of time to list on the exchange, get with the programme you bedwetter' - that's how it goes I think).

Nick are you still confident that your double-tap pisstake of my questions the other day was fair?

There's a difference there which suggests the questions I asked weren't so fucking thick after all. If the club's instruction is right, there's no need to find the specific ticket, just have Google Wallet open before tapping the phone. And if the club's instruction ISN'T right... 🤷‍♂️

Have they actually explained how the Ticket Exchange will work this season?

I’m clutching but I think if there’s any chance of passing to someone on the same network - it’ll be communicated there.
 
Looks like everyone in Block 22 have had their tickets cancelled and given to that American influencer and the head of Haas F1 and their mates.

You 100% will have to select your ticket hahaha. You have a default card in wallet, which for most will be their bank card. Anything else needs to be selected

💯 If I can’t go due to work or other commitments (quite possible with sky moving fixtures) my son has to go on his own. What about younger kids? People who need helpers etc do they have to miss out

This is on the help, I had wallet notifications off because I don't like being pestered with junk notifications and if I hadn't read this I wouldn't have choosen to switch them on. Oh for a simple card again, I might just pay out to get one next season & sod all this nonsense.

Got my season ticket e-mail last night and did some "testing".

Both the wife and I have iphones so I added it to my wallet as per the instructions and all went fine.

I then tried adding it to my wife's and it didn't work (no surprise there).

I then removed it from my wallet and tried again and it let us do it no problem.

Tried adding it back to mine and it wouldn't let me until I'd removed it from hers.

So it looks like you can move it between devices and the only restriction is that you can't have it active in more than 1 apple wallet at a time.
 
Instead of blocks perhaps they’re being sent out alphabetically.

NFC definitely has at least the potential to work in a very different way to your description:-

Thank you, one wallet at a time, appreciate the detective work.

An 800+ forum thread and the club think it's acceptable for fans to figure it out themselves.

I don't get why you are trying to massively over complicate it.

If somebody has multiple things in their wallet, the easiest way is just open the wallet, swipe to your card then tap it.

If there's multiple tickets, open the first one, tap it. Get them through the turnstile, swipe across to the next one, do the same

Thanks mate - I'd like to think I'm pretty clued up tech-wise, but it does seem a faff for simple access to games. Sure it'll be routine for everyone by the 2nd/3rd game
 
Something people havent even considered is are the club making us use just digital tickets to extract data on us through our mobiles?
