Bolton tickets (1 Viewer)

great time to play them if it goes ahead - I guess there will be a decision tomorrow either way - doubt they will be able to wait longer than that

Being selfish about it, it would be an ideal time to play them. Looking at the stats yesterday, despite only losing 2-0, Wycombe had 25 attempts. Bolton had 3, none on target and no corners. As close to a nailed on 3 points as you're going to get. A selfish view yes, but think Bolton will come through this and takeover will happen next week.

It's to do with the safety certificate and not the amount of first team players. If the EFL cancel the fixture, it will be played on another date.

If the game is called off I imagine that Bolton will face further points penalties, as I expect Bury will face too. I know it's way back, but Middlesbrough were docked 3 points I think for not playing a game, and I would expect something similar. If there is no threat of further penalties then there is little reason Bolton would make much effort to get the game played, given their lack of playing resources at this point in time.

If that were an option, would they permit the ifollow stream in the UK? I’d guess not but would be interesting as an option.
Nope, illegal to show Saturday 3pms. Can't see them making a change for a circumstance.

Middlesboro decided to not play the game rather than the PL or EFL calling it off and that is why the were deducted the points. Not sure whether Bury & Bolton will be deducted more points.

I posted the Bolton safety certificate up the other day, they used it to host the rugby League so can't see it being the issue

Is it more to do with the caterers, cleaners and security/stewards?

Just booked tickets and travel - this is a superb chance to bag 3 relatively easy points - they’ve only got 3 contracted players and they haven’t been paid for ages!
Can’t see them being that highly motivated - unless knowing our luck their takeover is completed early doors and they sign a flood of players during the week!
I’m going for a Cov 1-0 win!!

Tickets aren't on sale yet on both Covs and Bolton eticketing websites, how did you manage that?

Got mine through Leam Warwick Supporters Club this morning.

I imagine they will be on general sale on Monday.

To get the tickets through Supporters clubs you must have a season ticket.
Otherwise you can’t get one before season ticket holders.

They are allocated to Supporters clubs but not necessarily sold.
If you are a season ticket holder and a member of the Supporters Club you will get a ticket once they’re made available however this doesn’t apply if you’re not a season ticket holder.
If you’re not a season ticket holder you will usually have to wait until the general sale starts.
We can’t buy them before any other season ticket holder however we can reserve one via the Supporters Club once they are issued.
I’ve reserved mine this morning.

Fair play to them if they do. Just a blatant lie from the club if its true

From what I understand, they will be aware of how many tickets they are getting allocated and people can reserve them. They haven’t physically bought tickets before anyone.

Yeah it is shit. Fans not from Cov getting tickets before people from Cov to watch Cov not play in Cov.

But like the guy said it's probably just a pre agreed allocation rather than actual tickets. The supporters club pay extra and know they will get this allocation etc

Correct it’s a pre-agreed allocation - Supporters clubs go to every single away game regardless if it Carlisle or Plymouth on a miserable Weds night in the rain so it’s nice to know that you will actually be able to get in!
On top of that they are also usually season ticket holders too.
By the way you don’t need to live in Leamington or Warwick to be a member - you just need to be a Cov fan.
It’s a club run by Cov fans for Cov fans.

My argument is with the club. I have written confirmation this exact thing doesnt happen.

Correct.

In past seasons when we’ve sold double the amount of ST’s, most away games’ tickets have got as far as general sale - so wouldn’t panic too much.

Besides, Bolton aren’t exactly in the best position to limit allocations...
