SISU are extraordinarily bad owners - it's not like there are many other owners out there like them. They relegated us because they sold every player they could. They didn't even put up a fight.

The football on show has been awful. I suppose you think the Blackpool supporters need to chill out and 'enjoy' the football.

A club is only as good as it's owners - and City fans deserve a lot better. We've been through so much crap over the years it's unrivalled.

Probably better giving up on professional football all together tbh as in England all these owners are cut from the same cloth. (Don't mean this sarcastically)

Just going to get even worse with the foreign owners all wanting a slice of the pie as the money in the premier league seems to have no limit in its spiral out of control.

They aren't though. There are owners out there who invest as they love the sport - Steve Gibson at Middlesborough is probably the best example. There are fan owned clubs emerging too, like Swansea and Pompey, and that IMO is the best model for clubs.

We've just had the misfortune of landing the worst set of owners in English football (until Karl Oyston moves Blackpool 40 miles and sees their stadium bought by a rugby club).

I'd love to hear which owners are on a par with SISU.

You are right about SISU.

But that is not the fault of the players, it is not the fault of the Manager and coaching staff and it is not the fault of the fans.

We have to accept the limitations that face us budget wise and support the efforts on the pitch. Time to support Coventry City FC as you have always done.

This is what is wrong with football, that good owners are ones that encourage big spending, making losses and loaning the club money to fund those losses. It goes back to the list of 10 worst owners and the likes of Newcastle and villa being in their because having learned that spending big (e.g. Villa - bent, downing, Milner & Young) doesn't reap the rewards of champions league/european football so both have become more frugal and are therefore now poor owners.

Swansea isn't really fan ownership, they only own 20%, the rest is owned by high net worth individuals. I don't believe there's a club above league two that is 50%+ fan owned.

No I didn't mean there were owners out there that have done things on par with SISU, just that a lot are in the English game for the same motivation which drew SISU here in the first place.

Oyston, Cellino, Allam, Tan, Leyton Orient owner, Venkys who knows what they would have done if they were in SISU's position, I doubt any of them would have lost any sleep over taking the same action as SISU have done.

There are a few good owners out there still, Lansdowne the guy who owns Bristol City is another good one you haven't mentioned. However imo management of clubs in England will only get worse over the coming years unless something is properly done about it.

Perhaps not, but I think there will be in future. If FFP means that rich benefactors aren't able to pump cash in then there's no point them being there.

If SISU leave us then a fans takeover is perfectly possible - not like there aren't enough City fans to do it.

That's the dream for me. Owners who care about the club so that we never go through this again.

I'm in now way sticking up for SISU, they are abhorrent owners, but the rental model with limited access to revenue meant that our turnover in the championship was in the bottom 3-4 in the league, despite midtable attendances. It was inevitable that we would get relegated at some point under that model.. To put that into context the 3 other teams with the 3-4 lowest turnovers in the championship the season we got relegated were Peterborough, Barnsley and Doncaster. It is no coincidence that the 4 of us are all now in league one. The depressing thought is that unless we get a billionaire owner willing splash cash, then we're likely to struggle again when we get back to the championship under your preferred rental agreement.

Unfortunately FFP rules are completely different in the championship and PL, where it's based on allowable losses, in fact they recently increased the threshold of losses in the championship from £6m to £15m a year, which aids those with rich benefactors so there's no real future of fan ownership in the top 2 tiers.

I don't want to move to a new stadium either. I think the Ricoh is a fantastic stadium. If we are to stay though it needs to be as partners at the very least. Hopefully as owners in an ideal world, with the Wasps farce failing miserably.

Well the likelihood is if we don't get the 15% or close more sales, Mowbray will still be looking to add the same number of players but either they will be of lower quality than his initial targets or a fringe player or two will have be moved off the wage bill to make room.

Yes I would love to see us actually build a new stadium. Sadly we will never know who insisted on the deal. Perhaps that is all that was on offer; maybe it wasnt but sadly we will never actually know.

I have a feeling that we will. That is why I am looking forward to the next JR. The only chance there is of us not finding out is if the questioning is about separate matters. But this doesn't seem to be the case.
