Woeful signing. Prefer Kitching despite last nights mistake (nonwprse than Amendas v Arsenal btw).
This smacks of a panic buy. He was good 4 years ago. Not now.

Exactly this. He was so poor.

Mistakes not withstanding, he did nothing positive in the game. Just hoofed it forward and the odd time it didn’t go out, it just went back to their defence.

If he can’t hack it against Plymouth, he’s of no use to us.

Nothing positive? Did you miss the pass to Yirenkyi for the first goal?

There was lots to criticise, and I don't think he's anywhere near the required standard, but come on.

Kitching may be needed and he’s proven to be a good championship defender. He had a bad game, but that doesn’t mean we should write him off. As 4/5th choice he is fine.

Likes to try and ‘mix it’ with Forwards, it would have been harsh but could have given a penalty away on Tuesday at 4-2 with unnecessary shirt holding.

Has tendency to try and win the ball too far up the pitch, loses out and leaves left defensive flank exposed.

Just my view.

I agree with this, he wants to turn everything into a physical grappling contest and at this level you have to be far smarter.

I'd like to think the club would have had a long talk with FTT before buying Pinnock and that he'd have offered a candid view over what he can still bring rather than just vouching for a former team mate.

I'm expecting Pinnock to be a substantial upgrade on Kitch and to forge a good partnership with Amenda who looks a talent.

Kitching was poor the other night, but he's been great for Frank. Real fighter, and leader with a nasty streak which we lack. He's not quick, but nor is Harry McGuire. He'll have to adapt his game. Deserves to be in the squad. Lati and Woolf have got to be the ones to move on. Lati is a fighter, but he's a little small for a CB, and has no pace to make up for that. He could do a great job in the Championship at the right club. Charlton for instance. Woolfenden looks exactly what he was, the backup option last season if we didn't land Charlie Hughes. He probably expected to walk into the team having been at Ipswich in the Premier League the year before.

Looks an awful signing, at fault for the first goal against Brighton, completely stood of his man and allowed him to shoot. Poor again against Villa.
People were saying they would rather him to Mings, there is a reason he barely played the last two seasons.

Must have been watching a different game to most, I thought Gboho looked handy running at players, Mfuni showed some good stuff but his inexperience showed at times, but as a unit we were shit second half we had nothing to answer them we couldnt create anything, it all stopped when Cherif and Tats went off, Simms was nowhere near Cherif’s movement and his linkup

Really good today. Forest played to our strengths with many high balls and rarely trying to use pace to get in behind. Pinnock read the game well and as Brentford fans used to say, if a plane is low enough Pinnock will get his head on it!

Can we just wait till at least Christmas before deciding if he has been a good signing or not.

What's really annoying is that so many posters on here cant just enjoy our first PL win and goal for 25 years, without this rediculous point scoring over other fans.
