I dont get why people thought it was Rudoni sent off? Apparently CWR thought it and a couple of people in the match thread put it too.

Maybe like me they went for a P and when they came back there was a red card on the scoreboard next to Rudoni's name, it wasn't until I got to my seat I was told it was Awoniyi

I saw someone wearing a fake home shirt yesterday but it was actually a closer shade to sky blue than the real thing and it looked loads better.
The Cov thing is really starting to grate, but I think all these things are being amplified by the current results.

There's loads of them. The monzo logo is more red than hot coral too.

There definitely seems to be something going on behind the scenes. Doug has become totally anonymous, apart from a panic message telling fans to get to the ground at 2.00pm vs Hull. Communication over the summer has been virtually non-existent. The people "running" the Club seem to want us to be Man Utd or Chelsea, when we should be Coventry City, and remember our past and where we have come from. Tourists are not going to watch Coventry vs Hull. Doug is trying to scrape every penny from Premier League package holders. It will be interesting to see how many seats are taken in the Expensive blocks on Wednesday. Of 5 in our group only 2 are going.

I might pop along from our 'cheap' seats to occupy one of the £40 ones if they're not sold.

Personally I think it’s partly the club, but also the fans. Feels like we are all genuinely nervous of embarrassing ourselves and sort of have an imposter syndrome which shows on the terraces.

It’s also the fact that there are a lot of plastic fans now, that would disappear again if we go down - they come along for a trip out to see a premier league game, probably wank off over watching Haaland, Saka etc and aren’t really passionate about Cov at all….

The atmosphere is definitely nowhere near last season, hardly any player songs heard and when they are it’s only for a few seconds

Last year: turn up half hour to go, scan card, get to bar, sink a £3.60 pint of Stella, have a piss, go to seat, WLIDITT, COME ON CITY, watch us piss the league.

Turn up half hour to go, find huge fucking queue for no reason, utter to your mate "it's like they forgot how to scan a qr code haha", get to front of queue, find your ticket has been archived for the 3rd time this week, find qr code as people behind you say to their mates "it's like they forgot how to scan a qr code haha", scan ticket, choose between watered down Carling or watered down Carling in a waistcoat, realise it's £5.80 and blow through teeth similar to a builder doing a quote, you need a piss but now it's 10 to go and pretty close. You rush in to the toilet do your business, run to seat, miss all the fireworks, but you know there has been some because the pitch is now covered in a sulpher ridden fog cloud, you go up stairs while WLIDITT is being sung, get to the seat you've had for years, some jobsworth wants to check you're in the right seat.
It's just such a fucking buzz kill

But getting the music right and setting the mood is important. We need to tweak things and try not to be so depressing.

Is there some sort of stupid prem rule on going on the pitch for things like kick it for a ticket ?

Away games have been alright although I do wonder how some people have so many points.... Man City and Arsenal away, both full of tourists with Man City especially bad.

Arsenal atmosphere was a bit weird because the fans were sort of spread out and round, Man City was much much better.

One thing did stand out yesterday for me, I sit on the end of the row and just before the SBA chant started up, all the people leaving were faces I've rarely seen before, and during it I looked around and everyone was a long time fan. Do we have so many people going now, who've never seen us under the cosh and will walk away if we get relegated??

Contrary to some on here who thought it was applauding a dog shit performance, it was a spontaneous chant in support of the team who are under tons of pressure and need a lift!!! What else can we as fans do??

Doug doesn't care if we sing. All he cares about is that we spend money. I doubt the players really care either, all this generic 'the fans where great' is bollocks. All they care about is their huge wages.

If you look back that is what I originally noted. It is also true that the hardcore who were going when we were in league 2 provide the best support and that gets diluted by those who only come when things are going well. Of course none of this applies to away games as those are automatically the long term supporters.

the atmosphere in League 2 was pretty rubbish and so was it in League 1, it only picked up massively post covid and back in Cov.

L2 was great! New grounds, we were a big game for the opposition and we got to laud it about, despite only just making it into the play-offs and getting lucky in those.

I remind my daughter, who has seen nothing but relative success having watched our rise through the leagues and ticked off 70 odd grounds, that watching from L2 was not a badge of honour. That goes to those of us who watched the absolute dirge that was served up pre Checkatrade final in our slow painful demise down to L2.
