Big T has to take huge responsibility for what he did and let his team mates down and the fans. It’s difficult as it is with our quality but that was the nail in the coffin.

He doesn’t come back into the team after his ban and has to prove he should.

Realistically, he has to come straight back in after his ban.

He should have a huge fine, and hopefully someone gives him a rocket for it.

Unacceptable behaviour, and an act of total stupidity.

Hope Lampard doesn’t tip toe around the issue and fines him the maximum - Doug will be insistent to make up the shortfall in ticket sales for the friendly against Villa.

Definitely a red then? Hard to tell from where I was in the stadium.

It was, the replays were damming unfortunately. It was clear.

I think when people see it back ( if they can bear watching the highlights, that is) then a few are going to change their opinion on it.

Havnt seen the replay yet, and I thought it very harsh live.
What did it look like on tv?

I feel for him, having fuck all behind him to help. It’s an impossible task

Thought it was harsh personally. Wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the game, but perhaps wouldn’t have been so conclusive had he not been sent off.

I think he does have to take responsibility. No doubt about it. There is a tactical reflection needed too though. Our long ball plan isn’t making us dangerous and causing frustration.

Best thing that could happen to us is a 3-match ban for him. He is an absolute carthorse with a first touch like a pass. Simms didn’t deserve to be binned after Arsenal, certainly not for the man who failed to put the ball in an empty net at the Etihad.

Haven't seen it back yet.

Yeah, I think it was pretty clear in the end.

He bumped into the player first deliberatley, which I think showed the intent for the actual offense. He then went on to stike him with an elbow and it was in plain sight of the linesman and the ref. Just unnecessary. Made a really difficult comeback basically impossible.

Stupid to give the ref the chance to dish out the red. From what I’ve seen so far he’s what Forest fans said - a trier who just doesn’t have the quality. What you get for £9m. As fans we have to hope Wright gets fit and Cherif is worth what we paid.

Tell me you don't watch games without telling me.

His first touch is immense and the irony is that Simms missed the easier chance at the Etihad. 😂

A trier will still need a decent team behind him. This one doesn’t have that. We needed better.

Probably pissed off at having to play alongside players who shouldn't be near a premier League 11 with tens of millions of players on the bench.

Don't blame him really. Knows he will be replaced by bta so will be straight back in.
Ridiculous post. He's got himself sent off this week, missed a sitter last week and a decent chance or two v Hull but it's BTA to blame.

Seeing that replay it was harsh for me but this ref was going to give it

Watching it then the initial replays I don’t think it’s a red, he’s no intention, and I think a lot of refs would’ve let it off with a yellow. The Brighton player made a meal of it as you would, and the ref was eager to give the red. I’ve seen a lot worse not even get a card.
