Ticket Forwarding (1 Viewer)

yep... as long as they give you their client number

Ok....when adding to network, do I click the "manage" option or "assign" option!?!

Assign with their name and supporter number is what I did and it adds it.👍

Im not surevif you can forward to another existing season ticket holder, even if they are on my network list. Any know?

Edit - no you can't forward to another season ticket holder

Has anyone got anywhere with this? Still not letting me forward tickets to anyone on my network, season ticket holder or not

I can forward a ticket for the Brighton game, but not any others.

I'm loathe to try it as an experiment though as I don't need to.

I am away for Newcastle so that'll be my first attempt at using the facility.

Yes, the option appears. But when I select someone to send it to I get the below and they are not a season ticket holder

Ah, thanks for the update.

I was too scared to actually click the forward button.

Let us know when you get it sorted please.

I am on the phone trying speak to someone in the ticket office and have been listening to music for nearly an hour!

Have your friends in the network accepted your invite to accept tickets? Think it said it can take up to 24 hours to show

Are you trying to forward a ticket for the Brighton game?

If it's a later game then it may not be possible until that game goes on sale.

The email they get says no further action is needed and the below shows in my network

I managed to sort it at 5pm yesterday

Found it quite easy

Lucky you :)

I don't suppose you did anything different to what I am trying, but just on the off chance, please describe what you did?
Family friend (paid member but non STH) was already in my network, nominated him and forwarded him the ticket and he got home from work at 6pm and accepted and he now has the ticket in his apple wallet

He was my only nominee as Sunday is the only game I plan on missing at home, maybe only nominating one person made it a quicker process for me? Who knows

Not sure if some of the terms are confusing people.

Registered users = have an account at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/ccfc/ and a supporters number. This is free and can be done any time.
Members = registered users that have paid for a membership this season.
Season ticket holders = registered users that have bought a season ticket this season.
Members in your Network = other registered users linked to your account. you can add any registered users any time.
Nominated supporters = members in your network you can nominate 5 of to forward tickets to.
This should be nailed up on the main ticketing page! Cheers. Feck me I'll train ChatGPT to test the specifications.

Perhaps Gillian needs to give you permission to MANAGE tickets, rather than just to assign them?

Most in my network have given me permission to manage tickets, this means I can buy a ticket for them using their home memberships and assign it to them.

Perhaps it's the same for forwarding your ST to Gillian?

im still getting the same error message as yesterday when trying to forward (Brighton game)

try again later

Be careful with this. Even though it says this on the screen, you need to click on the 'I can assign tickets to Gillian' bit and then another screen opens up which shows that you MAY (if you haven't already) need to ask to assign tickets to her (even though the screen shown suggests you already can - confusing, I know) Gillian then needs to log in and approve this, before it can happen. Hope this makes sense (it happened to me, and I was stumped for a while!) Similar to what @paulcalf has suggested.

Did your friend get the invite via email?

Reason I'm asking is, could your friend forward the email to a different person who isn't in your network?

I have a couple of mates who haven't currently got membership numbers (or have lost their login details) who I might want to take to a game.

Finally sorted from a post on fB.

Sign in, go to 'Nominated Supporters 26-27' under All Event Tickets. Select the match and then Buy now, proceed to basket and checkout, and then you will be asked to assign the ticket for £0 and finish checking out.

As to why there is a forward to friend button is beyond me

No it isn't and yes I have. Follow the procedure I posted and all works. Do not click the Forward to Friend button as this does not work

The procedure seems a little back to front as you have to buy the ticket in order to forward it at £0

Tried and doesnt work , will try on pc later

This is just to nominate someone - the procedure from step 7 is completing the nomination process which is why "ticket" is in quotes as it isn't actually a ticket. The procedure at step 8 says: "Assign each "ticket" to a supporter from your network who you wish to nominate. Repeat this process for each "ticket" you have in your basket."

Its the forwarding step that actually forwards tickets - and which after more than 24 hours is still not working for me for Brighton.

And what isn't clear is how to view your nominated people, or if they have to be nominated all at one or whether you can add others at a later time.

So. Has anyone successfully forwarded a ticket?

And if so, what format does it arrive in?

Email, straight to wallet, printed ticket (colour obviously) via owl, or something else?
