Ticket Forwarding (1 Viewer)

Forwarding is now an option, but when I select the nominated member in my network to forward it to, I get the below

View attachment 54972
"Once nominated, it can take up to 24 hours for the supporter to receive permission on their account to accept a forwarded ticket."

It says all this in the article

Not sure if some of the terms are confusing people.

Registered users = have an account at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/ccfc/ and a supporters number. This is free and can be done any time.
Members = registered users that have paid for a membership this season.
Season ticket holders = registered users that have bought a season ticket this season.
Members in your Network = other registered users linked to your account. you can add any registered users any time.
ominated supporters = members in your network you can nominate 5 of to forward tickets to.
ah ok

to add a new member to my network its asking for a membership number?

my mate hasn't got one
then hes not a registered user.

The wording is confusing on that though and they should change it to supporters number now we have memberships swell.

Assume the function still isn't live yet, i have assigned my brother as he is a non season ticket holder but the option to forward the ticket is still blank for the game.

Ok, the reason they need to be registered and have a supporters number is the club has to be sure who the ticket is going to as they niw need to be as certain as possible who is inside the stadium. Its not their choice really.

Got there in the end,not sure if he will receive an email to accept.

It's a proper fucking hacky way of setting this up by the way, adding a Nominated Supporter via all games and adding it like a ticket  . It screams of being rushed. It would be a lot easier to just have a button under the user in your network. One needs development the other is a honking work around.

It isnt that hard from what I can see?

You go to the match in the list, select your ticket and choose forward to a friend.

It's not hard, but it's not logical either. Why would you go to a match list to add a user? you wouldnt go to members network to buy a match ticket, it's not intuitive. It's really bad UX which is probably forced because it's been rushed out. as its a way of Cov adding something without getting Ticketmaster to make a change to their site.

I do this stuff for a living and I wouldnt have sussed that without reading the help articles, which as we see in this chat already people wont do. Good design should allow people to get where they need to go without reading the help. There will be days of people asking how to do it and saying it's not working in this thread now.

What if I registered a new account say with my work email address and added it to my network. I could then forward my season ticket to “myself” and just send the email digital ticket to whoever I wanted without having them be setup?

But as the ticket owner you just go to the match in the list you can't make, then click forward. It seems logical to me?

You just add your 5 nominated people in at the start of the season and then you select whoever you want that ticket to go to.

it's pre selected everyone in my network as someone i can assign tickets too. Rather than me selecting manually

Im not disputing the sending of the ticket. im saying the nominating people is the confusing part. You shouldn't nominate users by going to a match list and looking for a match called Nominate Users. The clue is the page name.

Ah I get you now, you only need to do it once though. Don't have to do that every week.

I can't see anywhere that the nominated person needs to be a 2026/27 member of any kind?

Doesnt make it okay though right, look at people trying to do it now.

This post here is confusing assigning someone to manage tickets with added someone to being a Nominated User, and why wouldnt you, that page is where I would go.

@lowblocklounge you need to go to the matchs page and find the match called Nominated Supporters and add a user like you would buy a match ticket

The people I would ve giving the tickets to won't ve in my network, theyll be in my mates, and vice versa.
Im assuming we can just add the recipients in to the networks they need to be in?

it doesnt say they need to be a "2026/27 member" (membership) . They do need to be a registered member (which the article doesnt say in fairness but its implied).

Doesn't work for me, must be different for hospitality season ticket holders.

Just read it says must already be in your network, which the people who'll be having mine arent

Im ranting now but the PDFs with the article are so tinpot to, made with scribe software thats just screenshotted (badly) the full display so its hard to see anything. For such a quick thing why not just do it yourself and get it right. Or make a quick video. Or just use a free Agent to knock something sensible up.

Has anyone successfully forwarded a ticket yet? Particularly for the Brighton game

no....but only because of the 24 hour wait for permissions to update on nominees

i hope
