I'm still genuinely embarrassed about losing to Hull so i can guarantee you i'm not in the 'wanking them off' camp, but they are literally set up to shit out results and have somehow managed to land themselves a top keeper to even further help with that, so i don't think its entirely by accident. They've managed to outrun the statistics pretty much since the new manager was appointed, as did Sunderland last season actually, so maybe there are effective ways of doing that. I do hope they get found out as they are very stinky indeed, its not the sort of football you want to watch.

Don’t think it was last time, but there was definitely a season maybe in the early 2010s where they were 4th after 10 games or so and then finished 17th.

An example of luck is McGinn missing and easy chance or when the ball bobble at the last second befor eBeundia was about to sweep it in.

They have a bit of a knack of doing it, they only picked up 8 points after Xmas in 08/09 but had that decent of a start they just about stayed up, Newcastle went down in their place

Last time they were in the Prem they could barely field a team and the managed had walked out and they beat the inbreds as reigning Champions on the first day
