It’s also strange based on Lampard openly saying you need some more established players in there along with young talents. Though he also talked about how you can’t go leaving big open gaps in the Prem and we had players running around yesterday pressing and leaving big gaps.

Just not sure what we’re playing at with these sorts of signings. The window so far looks to me a lot like Norwich’s 5-6 years ago.

We can't keep buying unproven potential talent. Its the surefire way to go down as proven many a time. Defence is a key area to strengthen, needs to be proven experience there. This isnt it, dont care how 'rated' he is.

Callum Doyle was 18 and playing Championship look at him now, still a Championship player and not good enough for the top flight
