There's a difference between a remake and a variation.Over the years we've had solid colours, stripes, halves, quarters, contrasting sleeves, jaquered patterns, and fades. The away kits have also included chequered patterns.
I think the only style we've never worn is hoops.
So, other than hoops, anything they do is going to be a variation on what's gone before.
Bristol City are a club that sticks fairly rigidly to a basic home kit, with only the trim changing. And some of their fans complain about that.
