The likelihood is we are searching for a first team keeper again next summer
i’m not really sure what this means. There would be a at least a minimum of 2 seasons in the clause unless someone bid the minimum release fee.
it is £22.5m upfront rising to £30mSeems a good deal at £22.5m
I expected we would end up paying around £20m for him, reports of £30m was walk away territory but in the end it's a pretty sensible price

Many buy back clauses arent active for a couple yearsi’m not really sure what this means.
perhaps so.Many buy back clauses arent active for a couple years
He’ll have to agree to it tho mateperhaps so.
I know City’s for trafford wasn’t.
I think the likelihood is it’ll be a £40m buyback starting next summer
True. He’ll have to agree to it tho mate
I guess it’s accept the buyback or don’t get the player.True.
I’m pleased we have him.
Buyback stings

Think we still have a good chunk of wedge to spend. Can see a few more coming in£22.5m is a more comfortable price. Hope there's still a fair bit left in that kitty.
if it’s £45m or more then fineThe buy back will be a potential fee King will be happy with so I’m not too concerned about it
Reality is we dont knowperhaps so.

Or just start bidding for random players we don't want to show we're really serious. If it was up to most of the experts on here we’d have walked away with the prospect of Wilson playing at Arsenal with clubs knowing we’re desperate and with money to spend.
Buy backs are inserted quite a lot and quite rarely occur. And when they do...they dont go well. Alot will have to fall in place to happen.
Also, if people dont trust in DK by now then God help them
End of the day even with a buy back if the player doesn’t want to move back it doesn’t happen. Not overly worried about it.
I thought this - if we get relegated it probably gets triggered taking what’s likely 50k a week off the bill. Dovin becomes no1The buyback isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world anyway. I wonder what the long term plan for Dovin is now? Perhaps he can be understudy / longer term successor?
