2026/2027 kits

I'm still narked about the stripes.

Here's a list of Teams who play in plain colours and will never rock up in stripes:

Arsenal
Spurs
Man City
Man Utd
Chelsea
Liverpool

Here's another list of somewhat shitter teams who play in stripes and always will.

Sunderland
Newcastle
Brighton
Brentford
Sheffield Utd
Sheffield Wed

Which group would you like to belong to?
I think next season will be time to make up our minds.
I hate to say it but I hope sales of this season's kit are poor.
Did you see the crowd at Northampton? Sales look like they are going very well.

We could’ve played in pink cocktail dresses this year, but because of the Premier League badge, it would still be our best selling kit.

Neither, if they're going to charge me 80 quid a season for some polyester, I'd prefer some actual variety

This image just shows how tinpot our kits have been compared to other clubs.
How?

Newcastle and Brentford consistently play around with how many stripes they have, and Liverpool and Arsenal can't seem to decide which shade of red is best.

Not much you can do with Tottenham's all white affair, but when they tried, with that dipped thing, it looked shite.

On the brightside for everyone, I'm sure DK will release a new kit every 3 weeks again this season, so we'll have plenty of options 😂

" I hope sales of this season's are kit poor"

I think you're going to be disappointed did you not see all the Cov fans at Northampton.

Whoops other posters have beat me to it.

I'd rather the kit was lighter but once I saw it in full kit I can't say I mind it now, not to the degree that it's going to wear me down like last year's orange away which I despised at the start of one day and ordered by the end of it.

I don’t think our kits have ever given us an “identity”, the styles/ colours have chopped and changed so much over the years. The badge and some shade of blue are the only constants.

Our identity comes from (apart from the past few years and odd ones in our history) being generally mediocre at football, having numerous home grounds and having the best-looking, wittiest fans in the country.

Those Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool shirts, over 7 Seasons there's a hardly any difference so why would you buy one every season. 🤑🤑🤑

I like that Brentford keep their home kit for two seasons like everyone used to. It's a blessing in disguise that we're not following suit this season of course

They might play around with the number of stripes but they don’t ditch them altogether. And neither Liverpool or Arsenal would suddenly introduce stripes.

For me, what the other teams in your picture show is that it’s possible to vary a kit without completely reinventing it. Our kit history looks like we don’t really have a visual identity.

The type of people to go to Northampton for a friendly are the type of people to also buy the shit home top

Looks even worse on FPL.

No one can tell me you see that shirt on a player and think Coventry City...

We do; sky blue, occasionally in stripes.

I'm generally not keen on the striped kits (though was fine with the cup semi one), but don't see why it's an issue to anyone. Why do we need to be firmly stripes or not stripes?

Does anybody know who has the final say on the design, and did it change when Doug took over ?
