Match Thread Blackburn Rovers - Coventry City Match Thread - Friday 17th Apr

[Paul Anthony]

Dasilva that's fucking awful.

[fernandopartridge]

Da Silva has been terrible, Bidwell a better bet in this form

[Nick]

What a shit free kick

[Sick Boy]

JDS has been dreadful.

[jordan210]

jDS again

[SkyblueTexan]

Take Da Silva off. He sucks.

[The Nomad]

Our defence are struggling to make a pass without putting us in all sorts of trouble.

[Ccfcisparks]

this is not great

[wingy]

Don't give in to negativity!

[Nick]

Jds again

[Evo1883]

We are really quite lucky to not be behind here

An extremely dysfunctional half

Formation switch up not doing us any favours and need a winger on

Midfielders going wide leaving no options causing us to pass backwards all the time

[Ccfcisparks]

these lot are meant to be knackered

[covcity4life]

Not a great half but glass half full were on for the point that clinchs promotion, our last ditch defending has been admiral and Simms doing alright tonight.

[gspotgaz]

We look so nervous and mentally overwhelmed

[Brighton Sky Blue]

Pissing away an attack by being too slow.

[Northants Sky Blue]

The plan may have been right but the execution isn't, we're just inviting pressure

4-3-3 kicking towards the SBA second half surely

[HuckerbyDublinWhelan]

??

Joke about the stadium “we need new CBs in the summer”

[Nick]

Don't give in to negativity!

Who?

[fatso]

Piss poor first half, lucky to be still in it.
Lampard needs to do something to wake us up before Blackburn take the lead.

[Evo1883]

Evo has returned from deletion????

Name change back

[Cov. Kids. Never. Quit]

Good grief wake up DaSilva.

[mark82]

Why can't we score goals anymore. Poor performance. Not interested in a point, promotion is done, we should be pushing for the title.

[Paul Anthony]

We should be losing here. This is absolutely woeful again. We don't look anything like the same team at the minute.

[Sky Blue Goblin]

Guys, I’m all for negativity but we are 45 minutes from the premier league

[Skyblue Bangkok]

Dasilva and EMC have been poor

[skybluegod]

Maybe Frank wants us to lose today so we can confirm promotion at home. Genius.

[SkyblueTexan]

225 minutes and counting without a goal.

[Danceswithhorses]

Revert to normal formation at half time please

[Moff]

Playing like crabs, just keep going sideways

[fernandopartridge]

Simms just isn't good enough to play a lone striker in this formation, he's not capable of coming towards his own goal so he's completely redundant when we have got the ball

[Gleneagles65]

I’ve been more involved than Simms first half, get Wright on.

[mark82]

Guys, I’m all for negativity but we are 45 minutes from the premier league

We already realistically have the premier league. I want the title. And I want to see us claim it at home to either Portsmouth or Wrexham.

[AFCCOVENTRY]

Pretty meh from us.

We’ve matched up in terms of formation but it lacks any cohesion going forward. Our play is suffering with no natural wing play.

[Brighton Sky Blue]

3 centre backs but a mess defensively
Forward play slow and laboured
No idea what our plan is

[Sick Boy]

225 minutes and counting without a goal.

45 mins from the Premier League.
