Are you confident about making the last train back (especially if it goes to penalties)?Gonna go as it is doable on the train even finishing work at 5pm! Just a bit of a rush from Euston to London Bridge, but not too bothered about missing the first 10 mins of a cup game if I have too
Last train is at 23:30. Its about 15-mins on the tube from London Bridge to Euston so even going to pens should make it quite easily as there is no extra time. Are you confident about making the last train back (especially if it goes to penalties)?
I have managed to sort a lift back coming home anywayAre you confident about making the last train back (especially if it goes to penalties)?
FFS what an elitist view!Derby gave us a similar amount of tickets - that went down to 800pts. This is midweek, in London too - they'll be some that'll buy for points only but they'll be the few rather than the many. I'm in top window but found out I'm going to Berlin on Monday so I'm not going and won't buying just for points.
Personally feel that for how cheap the game is for a ticket it shouldn't be 30pts - I know it's in the club points allocation framework but they can make a very simple decision to make a change when something like this happens....Bristol City was similar last year in the League Cup, this could be worse.
No - I didn't mean that at all, maybe I needed to re-word betterFFS what an elitist view!

Not much in it really. Didn't we sell 3000 for the league game and only 2500 for the cup game too?
What has that got to do with you? You're not going. No - I didn't mean that at all, maybe I needed to re-word better
My concern is that others will buy tickets for points and not go to the game
If we sell 3k, no more than 2k will turn up

It would have happened regardless. No - I didn't mean that at all, maybe I needed to re-word better

A legitimate concern. Our next 3 away games are Leicester, Millwall and Wednesday and that will set you back £80-100 for tickets alone whereas Millwall in the cup for 10 less points costs £12, it's an absolute bargain. No - I didn't mean that at all, maybe I needed to re-word better

I think you will struggle to give that ticket away for this fixture let alone get your money back.I can get 3 in the first window but only 2 of us going. Happy to help a regular out on here as long as they guarantee to take it and not then get their own if it reaches GS as I don't want to be stuck with it.
Agree. Nobody came on so just bought the two instead.I think you will struggle to give that ticket away for this fixture let alone get your money back.
At home possibly, can you imagine policing that up for an away and then the arguments? Why too much and yhey prib don't careIf people are buying just for point, then the turnstile scanner should pick it up and you get the points . If that ticket is not scanned then you’ve paid for a ticket without getting points .. simples

That's good, always good to have an opinion on a discussion board. It's my view/opinion on a forum for views/opinions
Also - have family / friends wanting to go as a group to catch up as most don't live locally - most have purchasing history only.
And I'm purchasing 2 of those tickets for my lad and his gf
That enough for you...
It’s not our turnstiles… home games there’s argument for this but what will inevitably happen is that an extra layer of admin will be created for instances where points haven’t been added etc.If people are buying just for point, then the turnstile scanner should pick it up and you get the points . It’s an easy solution. Not rocket science. Data is collated on all turnstiles in some ways. And can be shared between clubs .It’s not our turnstiles… home games there’s argument for this but what will inevitably happen is that an extra layer of admin will be created for instances where points haven’t been added etc.
Our points system is about as good as it gets. Everything is a flat tariff and you get the points at the point of sale. It’s v easy to administer.

We all want to go but some people don’t . So 30 points for £14.80 is a result. I just wonder how many actual do this ? And how many want to go but can’t get a ticket because they don’t have enough points? . If it’s picked up as I said earlier by the turnstile scanner alls as good as fair. It's pretty much 1 game a year, madness to talk about penalising people who buy just for points when its such a minor issue, people are really maķing a much bigger deal of this than it is.
And anyone eho wants to go, will be able to.

Tough shit. The people in front of them on points are there on merit and will get first choice on tickets whether they go or not.
Irrelevant.
No, probably not.

Which would be valid if you were going, but you've said you're in Berlin and can't go."What's it got to do with you"
"always good to have an opinion"
Make your mind up!
People in front on merit and get first choice....absolutely agree with you.
The points system is 100% fair....I've never argued against it.
My original comment and annoyance is with people buying for points only ...just my view ...can't do nowt about it.
The only 2 England away games I’ve collected tickets for was Scotland away @ Celtic park and Russia away in a carpark near the stadium. Are you aware of any club that tracks this? The obvious roadblock is that clubs may not want to share this info because it’s admin for them. Not all clubs have electronic turnstiles, iirc Sheffield Wednesday don’t.
It’s just not worth the hassle or workload for the club for something that isn’t really an issue.
England away games is the only scenario where you only get your ‘caps’ if you collect the ticket in person where you’re ID’d. In theory, it guarantees the ticket holder goes to the game on their ticket. In practice, you could collect the ticket and flog it above face value and carry on drinking in the host city, which does happen.
