This - whole thing is totally over blown.

Rears head when as above, those games with limited allocation or big match mean people miss out, essentially it’s people moaning because they have missed out and want things changed to suit them.

system on whole is pretty fair.

see you all at boro on the Tuesday night ole ole.
I only did 2-3 away games a season before 23/24, didn’t get a ST for 22/23 and my points are still 1400+.

23/24 and 24/25 there’s been a lot of travelling up and down the country and it really is those 20, 30 pointer games that really boost your points tally.

This season we’ve got plenty of difficult midweek away games; Millwall x 2, Boro, Pompey, PNE and Sheff U all midweek. Wrexham on a Friday night hardly counts!

The points system for the most part is absolutely fantastic .

But id agree to an extent , if the tickets are as cheap as millwall maybe 20 points would have sufficed .

As pointed out nobody will moan about the points system when we play millwall or Middlesborough away midweek in the league
It’s v streamlined and easy to administer so it’s a good system.

if we get to the prem and allocations around the 2-2.5k mark, they’d need to open it up with some sort of a ballot system otherwise it runs the risk of being a ‘closed shop’.

I see no issue with a very small percentage going to ballot , say 0.001% or something close to that 🤔

It will be interesting to see how many are actually there!

I'm sure the last two league games made it to general sale and they were Saturday games so obviously more attractive (though I appreciate these are cheaper).

Four of us went to the old Den in the late 80’s
Hired a brand new Rover 216 and parked on an estate close by and it was not touched by the locals.
Urghhh, I had one of those in the mid 90's, it was a dreadful car overheated whenever there was a queue on the motorway when you could only move at a snails pace.

I disagree strongly with people buying tickets just for the points, unless the tickets end up going to the Argentinian kid.

It’s better than I thought. This backs up the view that things are ok as they stand. The local matches always sell out but maybe 10 games go to general sale due to high away fans capacity/ long travel distances.

I reckon as it's fans who go to most games anyway who have the points that most will attend, but still not sure why anyone is upset over those few who don't. They've paid for a ticket and it's their choice. They have that privilege by having attended lots of other games and I'd be astonished if those who only go to the odd game really fancy this one above others and aren't able to get a ticket. If they're only casual anyway, then the points accumulated also won't affect them as they'll be nowhere near the smaller allocations. The only ones who have a right to be outraged really are those few just in the brackets below (likely 1500 to 1600) who do go regularly and the points gathered might mean they miss out on a future game but likely only a couple of hundred at most.

Mine not came yet, hopefully here before Tuesday because thats the day the recycling bin gets collected

That's happened to me with stuff before. Few years ago was on holiday and expecting a record I'd paid £50 for. Told the guy NOT to post it until a certain date but he forgot or whatever and sent it. As we weren't in the postman "helpfully" put it in the recycling box. Then, the Gods conspired against me big time when my neighbour "helpfully" put my recycling out as he knew we were away. Result: one lost record, and £50 down.

Years ago my neighbour found an envelope in the street addressed to me which looked like it had been opened, had my ST in there.
I reckon a dodgy postman thought it was a credit card, or he opened speculatively and was disgusted with what he saw!

Was there an extra ST in there?
