Wonder if the club will finally allow the flag into the stadium now or if they will continue to not allow it because it’s deemed ‘political’ lol
Love it so much Im putting it on fb 👍

If we want rid of Wasps, they need to be hurt financially ie) pressure and negativity on sponsors.

Thid would be from the biggest CBS, to the smallest such as those that sponsor the players, corporate lounges etc.

Many of the smaller sponsors won’t want to lose customers due to their sponsorship of Wasps, so maybe customers who are CCFC fans could suggest they will go elsewhere if they continue to do business with Wasps.

There’s one sentence in there that bothers me “ we are a host venue for the Rugby League World Cup in 2022”
That means more buffaloes fucking the pitch up again

As far as I can see, there only seems to be one game at the Arena, 21st October, so no big deal in the great scheme of things. And Rugby League is much less destructive to the pitch than union.
Obviously it would be better with no rugby at all, but this one game won’t be a significant factor.

Protest about Wasps is a bit pointless. if anything, the Wasps fan needs to protest. But they won’t because Rugby is not passionate about their teams.

First game for Wasps is 17/9 at home to Bristol Bears (we are at Blues that day - although wouldn't be surprised if that gets moved)

Not the best day for a protest

We cant afford to buy the stadium.
Wasps can't afford to own it and run it properly; and I doubt we could on our own. CCC can't afford to run it .

So far nobody seems to have the expertise to run and operate the thing properly.

If Wasps go are we just back with a SISU v CCC situation?

I suspect if Wasps go, the momentum will be behind CCFC owning it in some fashion. Question is can a deal be done? CCC won’t want to hold onto ACL I reckon. Maybe the play is to pick them up from admin?

Why?
I am in Alcudia at the moment and there are plenty of Sunderland fans around should I get agro from them because they detest us?
Grow up it's not the fans fault on ether side.

Because people are gobby/thick?

I meant it as in walking around in Wasps gear is likely to get some comments from people pissed off at Wasps for this?

I think it is more likely a 3rd party would obtain the stadium. Then we are back trying to negotiate a reasonable rent and revenue streams.

That might turn out very well new owners of the stadium. But like the thought of SISU being replaced it does not necessarilly follow that the future would be all success and roses?

CCC sold their stake in ACL and ACL 2006 in 2014/15, their only role now is freeholder

That’s what I’m saying. They don’t want to hold the lease so will be looking for a buyer if it goes tits up, and who else but Sisu?

I think there’ll be significant public pressure to give CCFC first refusal and as we’ve seen any owner would need CCFC on side and successful to have any chance of making the arena a success. Time to reunite them, find some investment to push us to the next level.

Ultimately it's whoever is willing to pay the most, i hadn't realised that ACL is still paying ACL2006 £1.9m a year rent, where does this money go?
