Been following a twitter thread - is PSB Group making up shit again to mislead?

I don’t recall Boddy saying on the radio Birmingham don’t want us - I’m under the impression like the guy arguing with him it’s a 3 year deal, and Birmingham have a good relationship.

has anyone heard Boddy say the above?

Their lack of basic English is enough to annoy me away from their posts.

I don’t see how anybody who isn’t a club official could know anything about this.

Whoever is behind the PSB account seems to think saying “that is a fact” over and over again, without any evidence, makes it a fact.

The same as starving the club of money would get us new owners but then he piped up about Wembley?

Whoever it is just wants to make stuff up and claim fact but then when questioned have a melt down saying it's his opinion and he's entitled.

Whoever runs that account is an idiot. They've also claimed its not possible to start next season at Birmingham and then come back to the Ricoh. We came back from Northampton part way through a season and Boddy has previously said the Birmingham deal allows us to come back part way through a season. Just make up whatever they think will support their point of view.

PSB Group says Boddy has said 20 times on the radio Birmingham don’t want us there. That’s strange as I’ve not heard it once

He’s (DB) never ever said that. FAKE NEWS.

His friend has a box - doesn’t Dave Boddy sit in the main stand match day?

He sits in the Kop Stand corporate section not too far away from me.

Cant say I’ve heard this either, though maybe because I’m not in a box I wasn’t included in the distribution list.

Even if it was true I doubt Boddy would be broadcasting it across the region.

Fook sake money talks in the championship and below. They arent going to turn away our revenue. The fans or some cretin who has a poxy box isnt the decision maker its the person paying wages and bills.

At least they could have thrown in that Birmingham was COVID free until Coventry fans came there for the Sunderland game!

Isn’t the real question “will Birmingham STILL want us” playing at St Andrews should we make the Championship?

Taking pity on a neighbour who has fallen on hard times is one thing, supporting the rebuilding of a rival another. (As an aside, the CCFC marketing team should be targeting schools in Meriden / Hampton in A / Coleshill when they go back, although BCFC would probably not be best pleased)

Would be interesting should we both be near the play offs or (more likely in reality) near the bottom end.

I hope CCFC have a plan C.

Well if A is Ricoh, B is St. Andrews then C is somewhere nearby that at least meets FL Champ ground criteria.

Would be a travesty if we were refused entry due to ground grading / lack of ground.

It’s a thread done to death but I think Hinckley and Nuneaton technically do (or are not far off) EFL Official Website - Appendix 1 - Membership Criteria (Regulation 8)

Before anyone chelps up “not big enough etc.” I know, I know but if it’s a choice between no ground or tiny ground or big ground 40 miles away then I’d choose small ground local.

Why wouldn’t they want us - Football is tribal, were hardly a rival - their biggest issue is the villa.

CCFC will have targeted those areas for years, pretty much like they would have done Nuneaton and Hinckley. It’s not like they’re doing it for free - they’re profiting from our rebuild

For what it’s worth, when football is back up and running I expect to back at the Ricoh - us as a championship is a far bigger draw for stadium sponsors. We’ve strengthened our hand a bit here
