What's everyone watching while on 'lockdown'? (3 Viewers)

I saw the Wire and thought it looked good, never seen it though.

I think I tried the first one of Bosch and couldn't get into it, my attention span is lacking nowadays. If it doesn't hook me in within 10 minutes I am out.

I don't mind it, but I don't like torture much at all, with loads of screaming.

As I said, a strange wank but the carrier bag ones scare me.

Loving the fights and violence on Gangs of London.

My favourite is the bloke getting his leg snapped on the corner of a bar.

I have only watched the first one.

Not sure about the confused gypsys who are welsh with a bulldog instead of a lurcher.

I enjoyed it.
Very violent and far fetched. Thought it was meant to be true to life but it was nothing of the sort
Yup. Me and extreme violence are not happy bedfellows. Not unless it is my imagination conjuring up ever more 'do the missus in' scenarios.

We started watching "Normal People" last night on iPlayer. It's like an Irish "Gregory's Girl" in some ways, but alright so far. Anyone seen it?

The lead female is attractive in an unusual way (not harmed by her predilection for taking her clothes off) but the lad's mum, who only has a fleeting appearance thus far, is quite something! Sarah Greene (not the ex Blue Peter presenter) is her name.

Really enjoyed series 2 of After Life. As good as series 1. The fifth episode with the talent show had everything. I was crying with laughter and then crying properly in the space of about 5 minutes.
my problem with After Life was so much of the material was rehashes of his podcast material and other stuff he's done. Great story idea and the original bits were good.

I cried a lot more in the second series. Found it more melancholic than the first one, which was a bit of a turn up for the books, because he was so depressed in series one and ended up much more positive come the finale.

Loved Brian and Pat especially in the show.

Was worried the second series wouldn't live up to the first but it was brilliant. Think there's plenty of scope for a third series if he wants to break the habit of a lifetime. Definitely more to be told with Sandy's backstory.

Some cracking one liners in there as well.

Found a YT channel that has every episode of Dream Team so picked it up at Season 7 and forgot how 'good' it was

On a bit of a binge watch right now..
Watched all 7 series of the West Wing..(took me about a month!).
I love the politics side of dramas and watched this a 2nd time round and its still superb.
I love the fast paced, intelligent dialect in the writing. Aaron Sorkin is my favourite screenwriter (director, producer, and playwright.) by far.

Homeland s7(?).. always been a big fan of Claire Danes. Decent series after a poor s6, not sure what they can do next that they haven't done already though?
Moved on to 'The Outsider' and that was decent..a little weird, murder mystery type thing.. but not bad..
Then Ozarks s3.. slow start and then BAM it gets going and i didn't want it to finish!. Great ending too..
I've decided I'm going to visit the 'O' as soon as the lockdown eases up.

Watched 'The English Game' .. meh.. it was alright, too slow paced for me.
Next up AfterLife s2.. Didn't think it was as good as s1, but thought Postman Pat was brilliant in it.haha .. Very thought provoking..
'Save me too' was next... it was literally the same as the first series.. lost interest pretty early to be honest.

Watched 'Dark Waters' in between.. very much in the same vein as "Erin Brockovich".. not bad, i get angry about what these big corporations get away with.

Now onto Gangs of London - up to ep5... love it..
Crazy, violent, with a couple of 'ouch' shout out moments. lol.
Did i say it was violent! Jesus!!

Just watched Primal Fear. An old film with Ed Norton and Richard Gere, but exactly the kind if thing I like. Sure it was a bit predictable, most plots are, but I love court room stuff and there was some great acting. Can't believe it's been out so long and I'd never even heard of it, simply flicking through trying to find something to watch.

Tiger King was worth watching if only to see how mental it is we've caught up on Save Me, now watching Save Me Too. Nice to see Lennie James okay a decent character agian after TWD turned Morgan into a very boring bloke. Bosch season 6 is on my list. Love Bosch, first picked up one of the books about 15 years ago and not stopped reading. Homeland has been fantastic. Killing Eve also very good.

Rewatched Life on Mars over the weekend. Still a good watch.
I seen an interview on line where they are considering a third series of life on Mars , I’m not sure how they could

I saw Ricky Gervais do a work in progress for his previous stand up tour and Brian was the warm up act. He was as funny as Ricky Gervais. So good.

Having been out of the UK so long there are so many TV series I've just never heard of.
Quarantine "forcing"me to watch TV - something i don't normally do apart from Sport and documentaries.
So just found Peter Kay's car share which is keeping me amused

Redbridge Rovers on Prime. Well known British cast. Like Early Doors at a non-league football club.

This came from Matthew Graham's (co-creator and writer) tweets during a recent watch along. Was actually on April 1st so a lot of people assumed it was a joke but he's confirmed it wasn't.

Said it would be set in Manchester and London mostly in an alternate version of the present but also the 70s and 80s, presumably via flashbacks. Would be 4 or 5 episodes and mentioned a 'show within a show' Tyler: Murder Division.

Confirmed it would be this and nothing more and seemed to indicate all the lead actors had agreed to return.

Made it clear it wasn't commissioned yet but you'd think it would be a no-brainer, was a huge hit. Have a feeling it was made by his production company independently so even if the BBC did say no for some reason he could take it elsewhere, sure Netflix would jump at the chance.

There's an American version which is, shall we say different. Worth a watch (its only 17 episodes) if only for the ending.
