He also pays for family to go. He’s a force for good. The trust were one of the key players but are now one of many

I remain unconvinced

That he is a force for good or that he is a fan or that he can do anything?

I think his attentions are more aligned with the boards obvious objective than anything else.

Everyone saying sisu this dish that have to realise we have been in trouble with past owners since the start of the 2000's, just hope if we get promoted we go back to the Ricoh and hopefully someone who wants a club and a challenge comes in and buys out sisu.

Given it's so easy to get to St Andrews, it'd be easy enough to get enough people along to vote in a whole new board.

Then... that board can enact some enlightened policies for engagement.
You could have just said yes.

Turn up to the pub or fuck off. People who live abroad, people who work late, people with disabilities that struggle to move, people who don't have disposable income. They can all fuck off, their voices don't matter, they're not city fans. Why should anybody turn up and give legitimacy to a group like that.

Exactly and we all know that if a meeting was called to remove them then it would oddly be double booked and a new meeting scheduled the next day which oddly no one was aware of

It's like nobody reads.

Turn up, vote in a more enlightened board, change the procedures. All those banging on about how St Andrews is no excuse for not going can turn up to a pub in the right city.

But nobody actually seems to want to enact change, they just want to moan...

We had the chance, only four of us turned up prepared to try and change things. If 24 had turned up and there had been some nominees, we'd have had four board members aligned with this board, as opposed to David Johnson.

there are two spaces so why didn’t two of you stand for nomination?

Also I’ve no doubt if I stood my families security would be under threat - no doubt whatsoever

Trust long term aim in their minutes is to remove Sisu. I’d prefer our owners communicated with the fans and told us their plans and listened to our ideas and passions and sought ways to work together
I would prefer owners that keep us on an upward path but on an even keel , over communication

Perhaps next time you see him you can ask him about the wasps clapping incident?

He said it was shameful and also that he never speaks to Tim Kalns

Oddly he’s there shaking hands with the wasps guy and Kalns is two feet away clapping like a performing seal

I don't go enough in my view, even when we're in the right city, to command enough respect.

Would you turn up to the next meeting to elect board members, to help elect me?

usskyblue's response on this thread also shows there are too many morons about willing to fling random shit.

Cow me, I'm in Unison but am supplied with information and am able to vote for change without ever going to an AGM.

The Trust don't want a change in the board and have rejected or ignored any processes to simplify their draconian system

None of the board go at all so that’s a bit odd. No I would not attend at all for the reasons I’ve given

Any new owners would have the same issue unless they are willing to invest significant millions each season

So the way to change it is from within.

Trust me, as a lefty I can be well versed in the likes of Militant and Momentum.

The system's wrong, so the way to change it is to put yourself in a position to be able to do so.

He can talk for himself on here and I’d prefer to seek ways to move forward than to continue arguing

The trust are completely isolated why would one wish to join with them? We have proved we can use our voice without them

Genuinely I don’t think you need the trust to unite supporters and engage with the club. Juggy has proved that as have we. We are such a powerful group when we come together. We need to be urging the two parties to get round the table and sort it for next year. But you still have the trust isolated as part of the supporters forum and still articulating their aim to remove the owners. I know the supporters direct stuff is about fan ownership and they’ve taken this to heart

That's a different argument then, isn't it.

If that's the case, why give a fuck what the Trust do, and instead focus on what we can do constructively.
Because they are still the ones speaking on behalf of fans in the local and national media.

Then you have the issues like when Pete went on the radio and got hammered by Upton for speaking out about the trust. Then you have issues about certain individuals trying to get people to lose their jobs for speaking out.

and got hammered by Upton for speaking out about the trust
Because nobody took my advice about press releases and not mentioning the trust at all. I'd say my advice doesn't come cheap but hey, alas it does indeed come cheap. Nonetheless, that advice was actually offered knowing full well what would happen.

You either create revolution from within and change things at the trust, or you ignore them and work in building up your own credibility. Batshit suspicions and innuendos aren't the way to do the latter.

Only because we’ve allowed it. Their last statement was pretty much ignored.

That was because they wanted it to be because it mentioned wasps. Next time there's something about sisu or ccfc it will be straight to the nationals and tweeted tens of times every day by the telegraph.

I think we played it well and we certainly built our credibility with the local media and other parties.

I hope you don’t think I or we ignored your advice and others advice. The wording was changed significantly and when talking to Upton I was expecting what he was going to say and could laugh of the accusation, focus on our key points and ensure they were heard

Well, thank fuck the idiots did. And via a plethora of fuck-ups and considerable fuckhousery by the Council and Wasps on the way, we are finally enjoying good things on the pitch.

The Trust do not want outside involvement. The meetings are a front to give the illusion of democracy. There isn’t one. There is an agenda. It’s SISU OUT and/or a Phoenix club.

They are also in Hoffman’s pocket who, in turn is personal friends with Linnell who can cover the CWR angle.

Linnell also follows dubious Twitter accounts (what any normal thinking fan would interpret as extremist SISU OUT nutjobs) that are also linked to the Trust.

You want people to ‘turn up’. They don’t want you to. They hadn’t even been bothered to publish any minutes for over a year.

Unless they can be overthrown, forget the fucking Trust.

Absolute bollocks. There's one board member who I think the Phoenix club accusation can be aimed at and I don't think any of them are 'in' with Hoffman. There's plenty to criticise them over, no need to make things up.
