As long as you take your shoes off or the wife will give you a bollocking . Weve been laid off this week so I've got nothing on lol.
I bet you are the one insisting on the shoes. I have had an electrician in today and told him to take his shoes off or the missus would go mad. But really it was me.

I moved to rugby last month so go the M6 way. getting off at spaghetti junction when there playing is chocker block

Thought I would wait till things calmed down a bit to respond to this.

We were caught up in the queue to get off at spaghetti junction and go past the villa ground, and have been in the past when villa are playing. We did, however, notice that one of the coaches went off to the right, so up and over the motorway so may check out that way to see if it's any quicker.

One thing I am surprised at is that nobody has mentioned the lack of female stewards to carry out searches last week - the ladies having to queue separately with only one turnstile being available. Not a huge problem really, in fact probably got in quicker. However, whoever had a go at the young lady needs to have a look at themselves!

Yes my wife was not impressed ( and those of you who know the things annoy you thread - she has the patience of a gnat ) as there was no queue in the rhs as you look at the ground and then she had to go and queue on the lhs - shouldnt take rocket science to understand people come together male and female

Use your sat navs rather than going to 6, get off at 5 as it's quicker. Down past the fort.

What were the checkatrade attendances at Sixfields like?

Just researched it and we didn’t actually play there. First season Leyton Orient knocked us out in first round at their place, second season we were already back at the Ricoh by the time we had a home tie

Found this from 2016 which suggests last night did set a new record When Coventry City attracted their lowest ever attendance

After the small crowds at the Ricoh Arena for the League Cup and Football League Trophy games, several people have asked me for more details about the game which attracted the lowest ever gate for a City game – a Full Members Cup tie against Millwall that attracted only 1,086 fans to Highfield Road in 1985.

I wonder when iFollow purchases will count towards attendance? Wouldn't surprise me if there were more watching at home.

Wow, so less than half of our previous lowest ever crowd !

It’s not a real game though. This is really a reserve game and has no interest to hardly anyone. I was at that Wimbledon game in the equally pointless cup when as a top flight team we got 1,000

I asked the club how they can justify a 40 percent increase in the cost of coach travel.Looking at their reply it seems less people are using the coaches so hence the increase. By next season then the cost will be even higher as less people travel this way. This seems self defeating if you want people to go to Brum.

Yeah and I have just noticed there are going to be huge problems on west midland trains every Saturday until Christmas.

It isn't the club, it's the providers.

it does'nt matter who it is, the end result will be less fans go. I've already lost the argument with my mates who will not go to Brum and now I also am out. They can count me in the crowd for the rest of this season because I have a season ticket, but I will not be there.

Because of £2? They could have kept the price the same but just put 1 coach on first come first served, that would have stopped even more fans going.

I get it's not ideal but really, not going for the rest of the season over £2 is pretty dramatic. Although I can't say I blame you as an individual, Coventry and Warks for some reason has the some of the flakiest football fans around.

Each to their own but if you're willing to fork out over £200 (ish) for a season ticket i highly doubt the extra £2 is causing an issue.

Get an unofficial coach if its the price?

Dont want to make a sweeping accusation but your post sounds a lot like one of those fans that doesnt want to go and will claim any excuse they can as to the reason...

Really? Over £2 because the coach provider has put their prices up?

I guess if fuel companies put petrol prices up you’d not go if you drive
