Match Thread Coventry City vs. Tranmere Rovers Match Thread - Sunday 13th Oct

[CovUpNorth]

Why??? Can’t legislate for missing 5 sitters

Insisting on Shipley taking set pieces when Robins himself said we’re not very good at them,

the misses are down to the individual player, but who signed them?

and picking Hiwula even though he misses sitters every game.

[Terry Gibson's perm]

Godden has disappeared, we have missed Jobello at least he crosses it

[The Reverend Skyblue]

I'd bin Hiwulla and send him packing. That chance he missed was unforgivable as he tried to hit the 1 % of the goal in the far corner of the 90% he could see, if that makes sense

[Flying Fokker]

Fortress St. Andrews. A few good results and the crowds will forget about playing in Birmingham....

Hope we don’t slide like we did at sixfields

[skyblue025]

Couldn’t score in a brothel

[Sky Blue Pete]

Insisting on Shipley taking set pieces when Robins himself said we’re not very good at them,

Players have to make a move for it the balls have been pretty good

[The Penguin]

I’ve never been a “boo the players” person but fuck me they deserve it today.

[HuckerbyDublinWhelan]

Can we go back to being shit and only creating 2 chances a game. Creating 17 and missing all of them for 2 seasons is frustrating aswell

[Sky_Blue_Dreamer]

How THE FUCK did we lose?

[Maverick]

Robins stubbornness costs us again

[procdoc]

Hiwula and Godden should be fined a weeks wages after that.

[Terry Gibson's perm]

Ok Pete Shipley he couldn’t cross the road

[ccfcway]

Tough result to take that. Created loads of chances and great to watch.

[Perryccfc]

I’ve never been a “boo the players” person but fuck me they deserve it today.

Why?

[cc84cov]

we play nice enough football but didn’t create much first half then when we do create we have clowns like Godden & Hiwula missing chances like that

[hill83]

If we could finish we'd be laughing. Fine lines and all that, so despite the result I'm still feeling positive.

So stick that in your pipe. Pub time.

[Sky Blue Pete]

You’ve got to change the formation or drop Godden after that haven’t you???

[fernandopartridge]

Absolutely livid. Here comes one hell of a slide I feel

[Winny the Bish]

What a bunch of shite. If Hiwula didn't have the co-ordination of a fucking newborn deer we'd have won that.

[Sky Blue Pete]

Robins stubbornness costs us again

We missed 5 sitters

[Dickie]

Hiwula and Godden should be fined a weeks wages after that.

That one Godden ballooned right in front of goal was criminal

[Saddlebrains]

Remember when everyone said we would get autos pffftt

[cc84cov]

Wankers their all wankers over paid wankers...

Wankers

[Ccfcisparks]

Robins stubbornness costs us again

Did Robins make Godden miss those 3 clear cut chances or did he make him run offside 8 times

[no_loyalty]

FFS, talk about smash and grab. Our finishing is terrible.

[cc84cov]

Remember when everyone said we would get autos pffftt

Goal difference always tells you who’s who in a league we don’t score enough

[fernandopartridge]

How long ago was that. The only recent spell was when McNulty had his purple patch.

Oh have a day off, Mcgoldrick, Clarke and then McNulty

[Tommo1993]

Nah, it’ll be hard to forgive our attackers after losing that. Pathetic.

[Macca]

Bin off the pretty triangles shit and play league 1 football

can’t see a promotion push, mid table for me

[Sky Blue Pete]

Ok Pete Shipley he couldn’t cross the road

Utter bollox. Was it Kastaneers fault no one was on the edge of the six yard box in the last minute!!! No don’t talk rubbish

[Nick]

Did Robins make Godden miss those 3 clear cut chances or did he make him run offside 8 times

He made a striker play out
Wide when losing.

No clue how to get us back into that

[Sick Boy]

And to think some were actually laughing at Peterborough and their new strikers...

[AlansEyes]

Hang your heads Godden and Hiwula. Dreadful. In Godden, we seem to have found another striker who does lots of things well, unfortunately putting the ball in the net isn't one of them.

[Ccfcisparks]

Oh yeah Cus lumping it forward to godden makes a whole load of sense doesn’t it. Clown.

[The Penguin]

Why?

Because I’m tired, irrational and not thinking logically!

It’s probably the frustrating nature of the game and result. Perhaps I should swap the word ‘players’ for the phrase ‘bloody Godden and Hiwula’.
