Hasn't even been making the bench for the u23s. Assume if they want him he will be allowed to go.

Thought he was supposed to be the real deal?
Couple of people mentioned to me on Saturday when this story first broke that they've heard he has bad attitude, no idea if true or not.

A poster on this board seemed to suggest that. With McCallum making pretty spectacular progress through to the first team, we don't really need Camwell.

It's not too late for him to prove us wrong though. A move and being shaken up a bit may be just what he needs!

4th choice left back at the minute, with both Mason and McCallum both being of a similar age. Wouldn't exactly be a huge loss

Posted a picture of himself in the MK dressing room so it's probably a done deal, just depends if it's a loan or permanent I guess.

Not surprising.

The rumour was he fell out with Robins over some partying/drunk driving thing.

Sad really if the stoke rumours were true when he agreed to sign on

Heard this at the game on Saturday from somebody knows his family.
No big loss in my eyes. Seemed a decent enough footballer but had a massive chip and seemed to think he was owed a career. When he was put in the pre season squad for Spain then taken out, both him and his old man were verbally negative of the club and the managers decisions. Also been done for drink/drug driving so I will shed no tears to see him leave and don't expect to see him make a big name for himself in the future. Not as a football player anyways

IF true (and this is the internet so not making judgement on someone I don't personally know) then get rid.

Have seen the dad and son / promising player /shit attitude scenario many times. Fuck them off.

I know the lad personally and he is not a drug user, so make sure you can back up your false accusations

If he had gone to Stoke we would have received a fee for him, if he does sign for MK Dons I guess it will be on a free?

Just passing on what I heard! You don't deny the drink driving though?!?! He's not a drug user but still a drink driver? Is this right or wrong? Something that we should all remember, a Certain Lee Hughes drank drove, we all remeber how that happened.
Drugs or no drugs, the kids got an attitude and as a drink driver, not a role model I'd like my son to look up to.

Young lads make mistakes, it's part of maturing, but to claim he's a drug user is outlandish. Spreading such rumours can be enough to destroy a person's career irrelevant of their profession. Think twice before posting rumours.

Drink driving is not just a mistake you can shrug your shoulders at.

I'm not saying you should shrug your shoulders at it. Drink driving is a very broad subject. For example, 2 beers and you're over the limit, 15 beers and you're over the limit. Nobody knows the full story. I'm not saying drink driving is OK, I've lost friends through drink driving. At the end of the day he's done the crime and paid the price for it. That's good enough for me.

Bore off dick head. I've made it all the way to 33 and never drunk drove. Funny that. As far as I'm concerned, drink driving alone should of finished his career. Ppl lose their £25k a year jobs all the time because their job relies on them driving and they've been done for DD. This is a kid in a HUGELY privileged position and is abusing said privilege. Would you still be so blasey about it had he of killed a family while DD?!?! I'd guess your the sort that would still put it down to "a learning curve"?!?!

Forgot fickle fans like yourself only deal in ifs. His job doesn't rely on him driving. He was kept on by us which tells me it wasn't a serious case. Think of the players out there with a list of convictions. Marlon King was done for almost every crime possible but we still chanted his name because he was scoring goals for us. And you want Camwell to never play football again because he was a young naive lad. Get a grip.

No, but his job relies on him SETTING A GOOD EXAMPLE! Completely missed my point.
I'm fickle because I'm not fussed that somebody with a shit attitude and a criminal record is leaving for MK Dons?!?! Rightio

Good luck to the lad. Hope he matures into a decent guy and a very good footballer. At the moment we don’t need him as brown and mason certainly ahead of him and on the basis of mccallum‘s few minutes I would say he was as well. Little chance here of him getting first team football.

I know him and his dad and they are both nice guys and big fans, I have spoken to Chris at away games where he has travelled with his mates. If he moves on good luck to him.

I d say good luck to him. Only seen him play a couple of times but he did seem to be a good player who would develop well. If he goes on a free I think its a bad move for City.
I d hope we d get a fee. If he signs for MK Dons for nothing I hope we do nt regret it in the future.

He made a mistake. Show me a man who hasn’t made a mistake. He knows he done wrong. You accused him of taking drugs, which he doesn’t.

Looked to have a good left foot but he needs games and he’s not going to get those here

Good luck Chris

Correct. Shame really, the lad had a lot to offer but seemed like he never got the backing from somewhere. Robins talked about his quality on many occasions but never seemed to follow up with the claim. One wonders whether he was meant to play for us or just used as an academy money maker. You don't make 4 apps and praised for two if you ain't good.

Would imagine we won't be demanding a fee but would hope we request a sell on clause as a minimum

End of contract in the summer so depends on the deal. I believe it's a loan in January and a potential permanent move in the summer so it's out of our hands really. Not too sure how the whole tribunal system works with youngsters these days but even if he leaves on a free I think we're entitled to a development fee.

Writing was on the wall when we bought 3x LB in the Summer & one of those was for the development squad!

The after match comments by MR were also a bit strong in the last game he played in the first team - basically said he’d never make it as a left back as he can’t defend!

Good luck to him - looks out of favour here now but how many have we seen that happen to over the years only for them to go on to make a great career
