You asked what changed. I like a left footed CB on the ball and I like Kitching on the ball but he’s the weakest defensively and was costing us a goal a game at his worst. I think he’ll be here next season but I also think we need two new CBs next season.

i think he will be here too but it wouldn’t surprise me to see an upgrade on him.

Conceding goals wasn’t all down to the CB’s to be fair. There were issues around both fullbacks and the midfield and sloppy passing.

You are totally correct. Too often the opposition could run through us because even the forwards were not tracking back. If you compare Tatsu and Milan vs Mason-Clark and Jay, Tatsu and Milan were able to defend a lot better because Tatsu improved the defending side to his game, whereas, Mason-Clark didn't. If you play as a team and press from the front then you defend as a unit, too.

Yeah from Oxford on we stopped pushing the FBs so high but Lats organisational skills and ability to defend definitely helped.

Lati has the best footballing brain of the four we have. I haven’t made my mind up on Woolfenden, as he hasn’t had a decent run of games to really find his form. I think Thomas under Robins and Lampard is the first on the team sheet out of the defenders. I wouldn’t argue against that either. Or though he was stupid at Birmingham re red card. Hopefully he has learnt from it.

I saw flashes in some of his appearances. He was excellent at Southampton.
Good in the air, but no quicker than Kitching and less aggressive. If we bring in a expensive CB in the summer which surely we'll do, at best he'll be 4th choice, and that's only if Lati or Kitching leave, and the latter certainly won't be going. Personally, if he's happy fighting for his place next season, Id keep him, and let Lati go,
