A fair few within a couple of hours drive away, which is what I like.

Hopefully Blackpool and Fleetwood away will be Saturday fixtures in August or September

Ahh, we always wish that and they always end up being a wet, cold night in February. ;)

Last time I went Blackpool it was a temporary away stand with no roof, anyone know if that’s been sorted now?

if Blackpool or Fleetwood are in August it will be absolute carnage. I was getting Whatsapps about going to Blackpool within 5 minutes of the final whistle going at Wembley.! You'd think people had never been to the seaside before.

Good post

Apart from a hand full of games every game for us down here in sunny Whitstable Broadstairs Margate and Herne Bay is a fucking hike.

Don’t you just feel sorry for us all.

‘NO’

Thought not.

You've got Gillingham next season, stop complaining. Southend can't be that far either.

Look on the bright side. You haven’t got Carlisle or Exeter next season or even Morecambe. They must have been tour longest trips.
I know one of the guys from Margate who I think attended all games apart from the icy Wycombe...and that cos he couldn’t get there due to roads.

I live on the Isle of Man so going to any game includes either a ferry or a plane flight plus at least one overnight in a hotel. Went to 14 last season, 9 home, 4 away, and Wembley.

Blackpool & Fleetwood are my closest next season, along with Rochdale & Accrington. Often go to games with my nephew who lives in Lancaster. His girlfriend is from London so we'll probably do Charlton - stay with her mum.

Really want to do Sunderland - massive club fabulous ground....

Never really understood the shithole thing. The seats could be the finest Italian leather and I'd still stand up and leave with a raspy voice at the end.

Fleetwood's not so bad. Best chippy in the world, the Dolphin, is in Fleetwood. Worth going for that alone.

Looking forward to going back to the Dale obviously, it's a good, old fashioned ground and does a decent pie.

Yeah remember that I went on a glorious Saturday In late September and having an open roof stand was fantastic.... fortunately I didn't return the next season when it was a cold November tuesday night with heavy rain and we lost about 4-0.
Away fans are in the North stand now but if as expected we take 4 or 5 thousand we'll be in the temporary stand as well.... but it does have a roof these days.

We won't take that many.

Never been there - may give that a go, unless it's midweek

We won't take that many.

If we're chasing promotion we will !

Fleetwood's ground is similar to Morecambe's - dame size, style etc - one main stand and uncovered terraces.

Easy to get to - train to Blackpool then tram to Fleetwood. As in most Northern towns couple of really good pubs

Was in Blackpools stadium today for a meeting. The stadium is complete. And it was bang bang bang all the time as they were getting ready for what looks like a concert.
