Really? I played Sunday league for over 20 years. It’s defo gone downhill but didn’t know it was going.

Surely it’s because there would be a large number of call-offs as many players will not be available due to the game versus Wrexham. Gives them the chance to join the end of season celebrations. Games will be made up midweek.

Most of the local teams went over to the Leamington leagues over the past year or two. Its a far nicer league.
Teams and Players have had enough of attempts to break their legs by some still pissed up cokeheads.

Yes, this is true. I was General Secretary for 13 seasons, but resigned in 2019/20. Mainly due to lack of interest/ teams folding etc. There was talk if merging with Nuneaton Sunday League but I don't know hpw that went as I'm living in Thailand now.

When I was younger there were 15 divisions
District had 2 premier divisions 5 senior and 5 intermediate. central had a further 3 divisions. So around 180 teams. Probably 2500 players. How can that disappear

My lads under 11s had to move from the Nuneaton and district league to Coventry last season as there wasn’t enough teams there either
