Maddison down again. No foul. In a competitive game he'd be lucky. It to have event more than one yellow by now.

Has any player ever been sent off for two diving offences? :thinking about:

He needs to get out of that habit

Form is a bit of a concern though tbf. We've played 3 League Two teams and a Conference North team, not won and only scored twice. Hope we get it sorted for the season.

After that game I learnt nothing new. We dominated play 2nd half, with no goal threat we are still only conceding 1 goal a game, teams know they can give it a go as we wont score.
When TM gets us our forwards, then with the way we are dominating games we should at least score 1 with the chances being created. I guess the big question is, how much of the season will be gone before TM has a team he wants, bearing in mind he will want different players in key rolls next season as this is a two season mission.

No, he posted sarcastically. The guy is a simpleton

Anywhere there tonight will admit we are lightweight going forward. Final 3rd we were poor. Maddison goes down too easy. We have no out and out striker. Tonight we had the ball in the final 3rd and no-one in the box. I fear the worse without a target man. Too many similar players in similar postions We lack balance and we need at least 3-4 new players to survive this season and that's no exaggeration. Not impressed by tonight performance

All good for for TM's arguement when it comes to paying for someone like McLeod!!!

Not overly worried atm still, I know we only have 1 pre-season game left, but clearly Mowbray is getting his point across we are dominating the games. Just no cutting edge atm, really do still need another 4 players- wingers and 2 strikers. Defensively solid, but still at set pieces can't switch off.

Do people actually think an 18 year old small kid from Newcastle is going to swing it. We're weak for this league and too much faith is being put in past players who have failed. Some of us have maintained a level of reality that has been slated but the overt optimists are the ones who are going to be blubbing soon. If we don't get a level of physicality in the side to compliment the youth........and soon, we shall be non starters once again and SISU will just move on with their legal ambitions without looking back !

You sound pleased. Are you going to be pleased if you are proved right and the optimistic people are left blubbing. Seems an odd thing to be pleased about.

Almost ready to swap promotion for some sleep, that cricket bastard is about 200 not out. High pitched noise from 2a.m. till about 7 a.m. Best way to get transfer funds??????
but a load of these bastards into a rich guys boat, tell him we wont remove them till he buys the club. There you go, all sorted. Crickets, now own the right to everything as they are like a stubborn ex lol.

I've seen us have a cracking pre season winning most games and end up finishing 17th in the league.

I've seen us have a terrible pre season losing most games and end up finishing 17th in the league.

Meh.

I made a similar point earlier. But you know, let people have their hysteria or I told you so's. I'll wait till the season starts before I become suicidal.

The problem is that people have put too much faith in a manager that has so far done no better then most that have gone before him....

He has the same restraints they did so will have the same problems IMO

Get ready for another stormy season, but hey I wouldn't want it any other way, I would probably have a heart attack if we actually pushed for promotion:eek:

Seriously friendly games are a run out and one step up from training, you cannot judge anything on the result. Never bet on a friendly game result IMHO.
