Match #23 v Bristol City, which I think is when we came back from behind twice with 10 men to win 3-2.

One of my all time favourite games. Don't think I've ever seen a city team work as hard as they did in that game

On the day of the Wolves FA Cup game I had to do a Speed Awareness Course, which tempered my enthusiasm slightly. It literally finished bang on KO time!

I’ll never tire of watching the highlights. It seems to be all of my favourite games are 3-2 wins. Great commentary too.

And most of that team are still playing for us.

Yeah I remember going to that one. Train from Cov station at 5.30 on the morning and getting the last train back to Cov from New St at about 11 o’clock. Long old day but as you say our form was on the up from then onwards

2017/18: Mansfield away. This felt like a huge turning point in the season where we hung in there with 10 men.

2018/19: Sunderland away

2019/20: Portsmouth away

2020/21: Rotherham away

2021/22: Bristol City home

2022/23: Boro away (draw). The first game in a long time supporting CCFC where we were in truly uncharted territory for a good reason.

2023/24: Lesta home

2024/25: Boro home

2025/26: Swansea away. The game where it hit me, and apparently Lampard too, that it was as good as job done. Top atmosphere from start to finish as well.

The first thalf of our journey was realising we weren't same old pussy mentality loser Coventry anymore. L2 and L1 success was so important to changing our mindset.

That said prob only after championship playoff run did we realise we can truly be where we wanna be again one day

And that day has arrived now

During COVID or not it was a huge game and a really tense watch. Ostigard leapt like a salmon for that header and the result went a big way to helping us pull clear.

Ostigard is one of my favourite players of recent years. Still only 26 and a regular for Genoa in Serie A and chipping in with 5 goals from 24 appearances this season.

2) Can you change match 36 to read 4-3 please

3) I think you should have included the Blackburn away equalizer from Wilson - mental away and we don't make the play-offs without it.

4) Also I'd include Swansea away this season in the long list, with the SBA in the best voice I've heard us in years for 90 minutes solid and capped off by a Matt Grimes goal.

5) Ok - my top 5 from the list:

Notts Co & Boro (both away in the play-offs) won't be surpassed, but I think the rest of my top 5 made up of Wolves in the cup, getting the ground back and performance v QPR and then Boro at home this season, probably our most complete performance and such a statement result to get us where we are now.

I’m guessing Hamer was our player of the season when he played for us, but he would have been a close second.

So many great games in that list. Some personal highlights:

12. Charlton 1-2 Coventry (2018) - wasn't this boatgate? Also the Bakayoko comeback special
26. Birmingham 2-4 Coventry (2022) - great comeback and the O'Hare sunglasses moment
33. Coventry 3-1 Leicester (2024) - atmosphere and goals here were brilliant. Especially Dewsbury-Hall sulking in the interview after the game
36. Coventry 3-3 Manchester United (2024) - I know we lost in horrible fashion, but it's still one of the best games of football I've seen in person

Maybe the first sign that season that we were going to be somewhere in the autos! Would love to know that last before City performed like that with 9 men!

Not sure about that but I do remember us playing against 9 men at Highfield Road versus Forest. It was 0-0 and we just couldn't break them down. Awful it was, night game if I remember but not sure who the manager was at the time, possibly Strachan.

I've not spent much time thinking about it but arguably #36. For those 10/15 (or so) seconds before VAR, it felt monumental, like we could do anything. There are far more important games but that feeling will be hard to beat.

It was! Matt Godden winner in the final minute! Atmosphere was fantastic!

It's up there with my favourites, the crowd was just so good back then. H&S went out the window, it felt like everyone crammed into block 14/15.
