Disappointed to lose unbeaten run. Woolfendon was poor and needs tocbe better

Was impressed with KKH and saka though

What kiefer Moore does for them is something both Wright and Simms do not offer us

They deserved it overall. There not a bad side and the over confidence from some posters was ridiculous

Onto next one. Really important we win at least one of the final 2 games before international break
Impressed with KKH? I wasn't. Too lightweight and tentative. Woolf sucked and so did Bidwell

Frank’s interview was odd: said he could “smell it” coming at half time, yet didn’t change anything until Wrexham had scored two and we were on the back foot?

I totally get that we can’t / shouldn’t overreact, but he HAS to own that the set up, line up, and lack of changes is on him. Not some players having an ‘off night’. When you’re getting overrun in midfield and out wide, players ‘stepping up’ isn’t going to change anything!!

Lampard:

We dropped by 5-10% and we lost.

We never had control of the game.

Thomas has a small issue might be back on Tuesday. JDS was really sick after Watford. 3 changes at the back is a lot.

I honestly never knew that. Thought i'd seen players booked before after a phase of play has continued. I stand corrected. Annoying though as he would've walked for it.

Think it depends what the yellow is for but if it’s for stopping an attack or whatever the offence is then play on basically counteracts it. @Adge or @Sky Blue Pete would know.

Wright is really really missing Rudoni and Torp behind him. BTA and EMC focus too much on themselves IMO Allen/Eccles haven’t got that ability to thread a ball through.
I think you're right. Wright is back to looking like the shite end of last season Wright but I don't think it's entirely on him. He needs those intelligent players behind him to thrive.

Whilst BTA & EMC have been playing well this season. They do tend to hold onto the ball too long and deny Wright the opportunity of a through ball. BTA seldom looks up to pass it quickly.
However, that wasn't the reason we lost tonight. I think being outnumbered in midfield and very poor defending was the main factor

Not bedwetting but that performance has been coming in my view, and hopefully we'll look back on it as a reality check, stop believing the hype, and see us putting in the hard yards and push on.

Watford was an at best average performance, tonight was definitely well below average. Even the HT scoreline flattered us.

Nobody came out of that with any credit, including FL. Defensively we were absolutely shambolic, any midfield with Jamie Allen starting in a 2 is not going to win the league, first touch and awareness from both EMC and BTA throughout was non existent, and Wright, well, I'll just describe as 'disappointing'.

Subs made too late. Decisions didn't go our way, and officials were poor but the players and coaches have to look at themselves after that. The only way to right it is with a much improved performance on Tuesday.

Saka MoM with a 6/10. Probably sums it up.

It was coming, rode our luck a bit the last few games. Now to see what we are made of. Tuesday will be tough, they will smell blood and we’ll still have players coming back.

I can't believe I'm seeing Allen starting for us in 2025. He's so limited.
Would rather Andrews start tbh. Allen just not up to it. Fed up with seeing him pass backwards when in an attacking position.

Yes, ok, couple of ok passes but in the whole is a reminder of the team 3 years ago.

2 stellar players (Gyok, Gus) totally hampered by having to play with second rate players like Allen.

When I saw the team sheet I wanted to change my previous prediction. Forced changes are one thing but it just lacked all the balance we had previously. They stiffled us with 5 in midfield, and we had no get out with Torp off the field. It was always going to be a gun ho performance from Wrexham and we failed to react to it with some poor defensive mistakes. Wolfenden looks ponderous to me, and got done all too easily by Keifer-Moore.
Still small margins and how it would have looked if that 3rd goal didn't go in. We were wide open, poor at the back. Bidders way off it, Wolfenden lacks match sharpness and Milan missing added up to a bad night for us and as i said, when i saw the team sheet its the result I almost expected.
Now the heat is on for Tuesday against a side improving, and looking for our scalp. This is a testing week. We need our best players back on the pitch.
