Think that's a quirk of the website. Those labels are essentially tags so this story is categorised under mens cricket, womens cricket and cricket.

I don't think they really have much self awareness either then.The problem with Womens football is that it has franchised itself to the Premier League. Many of the teams do not play at the grounds they are badged to.
It has created an illusion that the top league has equal status to the mens
There was a complaint about the Final played on Derbys pitch with the players saying it was disrespectful as the players are elite athletes and although its OK for lower league mens football premier players should not play on it - the irony that many games are played at non league stadia seems lost on them

I did not appreciate that of the millions of amateur players registered with the FA, fewer than 30 of them are transgender women. From the scale of the coverage, I would have thought we’d be talking about thousands if not tens of thousands, rather than dozens and hundreds.I disagree. Each one affects dozens of opponents and team mates. Many hundreds of women have been affected, some injured, some displaced and many self-excluding.
I okay co-ed football over here and on our 8 a side team we have two women on as a minim at all times. no problem as they are above average for our team! give as good as they get and go full steam into tackles you absolutely love to see itI have personally received a broken wrist from a ball hit very hard by a male player when I played mixed walking football for seniors. I have personally witnessed at least four broken bones sustained by women caused by male players. Now, clearly, these women should consider no longer playing mixed football and go to the women's category. They have a right to expect that they will encounter no males in the women's events.

i absolutely support the push for equality in sport, and it's great to see women's football finally getting more attention. This is a poor excuse. I suspect the FA will use it anyway.
