I’d be ok with that... he’s selling a SISU win here

Over the past few days there have been a fair few people calling out all sides to sort it out.

Strangely, there are a few of the people who have banged on and on about "SISU apologists" over the years who seem really really desperate in trying to defend the other sides and say how they have done nothing wrong.

It is getting to the point where it is slowly starting to show a few agendas and more people are noticing it. People seem to be desperate to tell everybody that Wasps and the Council have done nothing wrong at all and are really going into overdrive to the point of re-writing history.

It just seems that more and more people think that SISU, Wasps and CCC should all stop the pissing about and the games and are saying they all should sort it out for CCFC. Something that has been said by a few for months now. Strangely, some people won't have it.

Funnily enough, some of the people getting a bit desperate have links to the council. Make of that what you will.

If they win, it may then become certain we don't get to play at the Ricoh any more.

I prefer justice to prevail....but, I would be torn if it then meant the end of our club.

Strangely, the other person in overdrive is also giving it that.

I think I'll leave you to calm down a little. Yes, agree the football club doesn't have Ricoh Arena as an asset. But it won't have Ricoh as an asset if 13 Lord Justices have got it wrong and Arvo, SBS&L and Otium are handed it FOC with £200 zillion compensation. IT WILL BE SISU'S

I still don't think SISU will win but the approach they are taking is a bit strange.

Why would it be certain we couldn't play there IF SISU were to win anything?

Well, SISU winning doesn't necessarily mean Wasps leave does it? They may decide to not let CCFC play there.

Not necessarily but if CCFC go to the wall I hope they take them bastards with them - serve the franchise pricks right for getting involved

Wasps bashing aside, if SISU were to win it could facilitate their exit.

New owner picks up the pieces and sorts an new deal or hopefully wasps go to the wall and a new owner picks up the Ricoh

It’s obvious to me people are working to an agenda, plan call it what you like by trying to put sisu behind the black ball which to me looks like they are at the moment, if they refuse to stop the legals. Is it brinkmanship ? not sure, dangerous game though.

Sadly, there are always agendas.

When you have an ex council leader sat making images of bullshit quotes from SISU out of context and refusing to acknowledge any bullshit from the council side or when you have somebody who is heavily involved in the council making multiple social media accounts every other day to push the same sort of nonsense it shines through.

We keep a chinese firewall on this stuff, it’s not worth the aggro, so I don’t know as much as you probably think I do. After Fisher went after him in the press it hurt him personally, that’s his agenda if you want one. He genuinely thinks Sisu are in the wrong and shouldn’t get the Ricoh.

The one time in the last year I’ve broken that firewall I outright asked about an agenda and distressing the club. He laughed at the idea. That’s good enough for me. I understand that might not be good enough for you, but I’ve known him for 37 years and am happy in my judgement.

Other than that he’s just a fan, man. Same as anyone else.

It's about more than that though, not just him but others as well seem to having hating SISU at the top of their priorities above saving / loving CCFC then I don't think it's right. To the point where it's complete ignorance of others doing something wrong. Even when people say "SISU are pricks, CCC pricks, Wasps pricks" there are people trying to move the earth to say that CCC and Wasps have done nothing wrong.

I just don't get it. If (and I say IF again and again to show my thoughts on the likeliness) SISU were to win the legals, that would only be because of Wasps or CCC doing something wrong.

Don't get me wrong, he debates stuff and puts his view without the same nonsense as the Fisherbaiter types but sometimes there are things completely forgotten about / denied just because they don't suit. The Ann Lucas Quote image and the reaction to it is a good example.

But that's exactly what some have been saying. That those in positons of influence have a personal grievance with Fisher and / or SISU which is clouding their judgement.

Rather than pursing what is best for the football club they are instead targeting SISU no matter what the cost.

Really? I'm so out of the loop on everything to be honest. So there's no official court date for Round 318 of arguments?

There's no date, think people are guessing that it will be the he next couple of months based on how long other cases are taking to get to court.

My understanding is that the timelines for the next hearing for SISU will be after the EFL decision on whether we remain in the league. I can't envisage SISU dropping the case, so the variables on outcomes will include:
a] CCFC expelled
b] CCFC voted by EFL members to remain in the league, but have nowhere to play.
c] CCFC voted by EFL members to remain in the league and are allowed to relocate for one season to a ground further than 6 miles from city centre.

I’m not sure he’s in any position of influence is my point. And again, I’m confident that his position isn’t purely about that, but can’t possibly know. Just think it might explain the words chosen sometimes.

As I say just relaying what I know as best I can.

Guess the argument would be he still knows people. Then again... we all know people!

Anyway, suspect he doesn't read these boards anymore(!) but always found him a decent poster back in the GMK days, and a decent Trust chair, too. The hatchet job was bang out of order.

That being said, wrt what's going on now, it'd be a shame if he's let personal grievances cloud his judgement... IMHO. Perfectly understandable mind you, but still a shame.

Tell you what, who would've thought the days of McGinnity suing Nev would be a high point in club-fan relations!

Don't think that was the last time someone involved in this mess threated to take legal action against our supporters.

Why's that? Genuine question.

I found another person hated it because they kept getting corrected and when they tried to spin things it was seen straight through.

They just wanted people to believe everything they said.

If it's the bickering, I fully understand.

Can someone fill me in on something as I'm not totally clear. If the club have no set plan for where we're playing next season by 5th March, does that automatically put the vote (set for April 25th) in motion? But if we resolve the Ricoh row before the vote, then the said vote obviously won't happen?
