Transfer Rumour Where will Max Biamou end up? (1 Viewer)

Man United brought a 36 year old Ronaldo back and it's worked for them so far, just saying...
Milan brought a 39 year old Zlatan back. I do think that with modern scientific training methods (less joint-wearing impact drills) and nutrition specialists top top level players can extend their careers well beyond 30.

Maybe, just maybe, he wasn’t as good as the majority on here thought.

So what you're suggesting is we put Biamou into a cryogenic chamber, and then thaw him out upon our return to the Premier League?

Err… no. In response to the quoted post about 36 y.o. Ronaldo I thought it interesting that top top players (Messi’s and Modric’s and the like) are now often playing far later into their careers. I ventured that this may be down to diet and special training, don’t think I mentioned Cryogenic chambers - that’d be weird. It just happened to be on the Biamou thread.

A few weeks ago, when Walker was out injured, Godden not ready, Bright absent, I did question what would happen if Gyok became injured? Who would we put up front who is over 3 foot 3 and a fag-end? I was surprised we didn’t keep Max around after we’d let Baka (thankfully) go even if just keeping fit here until he found a new club.

Matters not now, we’ve got a few fit striker options, Tavares is coming on well, Max would be miles from match fitness - move on, Hope Gyok stays fit.

Thought he'd get a club but surprised its a club in the top half on the Scottish Premiership. Looks like if he signs he'll be replacing McNulty for the next few months while he's recovering from surgery on a hamstring injury.

Not a bad standard, good move for him I think.

Would we say that they are a better club / standard than Baka’s Bolton or Hiwula’s Doncaster?

Is the SPL a better league than L1 EFL?

Not a bad move considering he's apparently non league standard according to a few experts on here.

(note, I am not a member of the Biamou cult, just able to recognise that he's not as bad as some made out nor as good as a few made out)

He’s not non League, he’s a decent League 2 player. The calls by the majority on here for Robins to re-sign him were ludicrous.

Robbie Brady, Jack Wilshire, Jack Rodwell, Andy Carroll, Andre Wisdom, Nathaniel Mendez Lang to name but a few are all names all out of contract. Jack Rodwell, Jack Wilshire and Andy Carroll aside they are probably all not made for life from their time in the game and I would assume have their own individual reasons why they have not taken a deal.

Given Robins played Max so many times last season it suggests he can operate at fair level. This indicates there is something else at play. Injury, family dynamic or perhaps a secret lottery win!!!

Whatever the reason, he has moved on and so by now should everyone else.

Done very well filling in with an injury last year, caused nightmares for Brentford and Rotherham. 2 crucial wins.Especially when you considering hes a league 2 level player lol
