Sabbath / Ozzy farewell gig at Villa Park on July 5th. Suspect its going to be near impossible to get ticket for this.

Will either be a short headline set or loads of guest singers given Ozzy's health but the supports are insanely good.

Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira, Anthrax, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God and Mastodon.

Also a supergroup with Billy Corgan, Slash, Fred Durst, Wolfgang Van Halen and Tom Morello.

Not my genre to be fair but a great line up that.

Me and the missis will try to get tickets for this , only down side is it's Vioe Park!

[Hiraeth]

Spot the mistake.
Presenter Jay leno I think in his intro probably insults them by describing as coming from Australia!

To be fair, Nick and Paul were from Australia so Jay was at least half right

[SkyBlueSoul]

Gave me a good laugh, hadn't heard it in ages

I can't find this on Spotify. Is it a single / EP release?

[mmttww]

Total Control, gothy-sounding Aussie punks (2014).

It was an EP back in 1979. The tracks should be on Reproduction as extra track, along with a flexi that came with the 12". On it they discuss the merits of having Yuri Gagarin on the sleeve.

And, the music is ace, although of its time. Don't expect any pop music!

Yeah, tune. Just listened to Dignity part one and it's a winner. Total Kraftwerk worship. Listening on repeat.

Just dug my battered copy out. I'm off today as we're going tonight so going to have a vinyl day.

Got this when I was 15 in 1980; was just really getting into electronic music. Kraftwerk, Human League, John Foxx, etc.

Stunning. Part 3 is my favourite.

[torchomatic]

Also, listen to this if you get chance. In a similar vein, Ian Craig March and Martyn Ware as BEF released in 1980. This is my original cassette but was reissued last year so might be on Spotify.

Doesn't look like it's on streaming. I'll keep an eye out, though. You should give that Total Control album a listen, reckon it'll hit the spot before an away day.

[torchomatic]

I don't have Spotify I have YT Music - so YouTube is ad free. It's on there but as part of a box set. Here it is on Spotify:

Tracks from this cassette are from Optimum Chant [track 36] to Honeymoon in New York [track 46] although that wasn't on the original cassette.

Highlight is the fantastic Decline Of The West.

Went on Spotify to look for @mmttww ’s recommendation further up and this is the first thing came up. Never heard it before, It’s a banger right?!
Although could do without the sax.
