We cannot defend set pieces (1 Viewer)

The second goal today was criminal. Because we've been keen to put the regular Collins/ Wilson howlers behind us, Rushworth has pretty much had a free ride so far, but he has got to buck his ideas up soon or else we will be bracketing him with them. Watching at home it was obvious what Brannagan was going to do and we made it easy for him. Not watching him move the ball to the right or move the wall accordingly was so frustrating. It reminded me of Koeman's free kick against Seaman all those years ago when the gap left to shoot from ended in an inevitable goal.

The set piece coach is none other than Aled Williams.. so are you really surprised
Thought he was the goalkeeping coach. Did a brilliant job with Simon Moore and Collins. Now it’s extended to defending set pieces. Just great. How he still has a job all these years is beyond me.

To be fair, ex players never work.

M Doyle didn’t help us out of the basement.

Ex managers never work either.

Robins was a failure.

Hyam was sold to pay for the pitch. Kinda. He’d be a useful squad player.

Just my opinion.

If he hadn’t played for us there is no chance you would be saying “let’s sign that Blackburn centre back, he is what we need”

You would be thinking of better options.

We should be looking at getting in a defensive coach a proper one we have all these other roles being created in the corporate side of things but neglecting the fact we are averaging 1.5 goals conceded a game so we need to score 2 goals for a point and 3 for the win on average you can't keep doing that without getting caught out
