I think we will end the season 5th, we haven't got a strong enough defence

It's a fair point mate but we're still in there battling for automatic promotion. Think positive.

11 points clear of 7th place... Feel a bit gutted about tonight but I would have settled for that at the start of the season.. PUSB...

Better than a Wigan win but a Blades win would have been better.

Agreed. We could have taken all three points today but a draw is s fair result. Three points against Burton would sort things out.

Not good enough. Poor second half. Cole was different class first half

A win vs Burton is essential IMO.

Massive disappointment. We should have won and we needed to win. My 1-1 forecast was right though. Hope we can now slaughter Burton.

Frustrating night. Gave them too much space wide in second half. Phillips and Haynes played ok but were drawn too often to the centre

I understand the whole "think positive" thing but I think it's time to be a little more pragmatic.

It's been nice to get excited over the first half of the season but realistically we will probably finish somewhere between 4th and 6th if we sort out defence out. We just simply cannot hold out for a win. Maybe that's the age of the squad or maybe it's because we sit too deep to try and hold our leads, i guess that's why he's brought in some experienced heads. But yeh, Burton are going to win the league by a mile and then it will probably be Gillingham in second. I reckon we'll drop off and finish 5th.

Take a point myself. Crap conditions and a good side in Walsall. Wigan and Sheffield United drew also. We are 1 win off top. Can't moan with that.

Best side I've seen here all season. Should have done better. Lucky to get away with a point in the end.

Don't worry if a team had games in hand on us, they'll lose then, if we have games in hand, the points are already in the bag. Fans law

It is disappointing but if we can nick a win against Burton then all is well.

We didn't lose and remain in with a shout of automatic promotion.

At the very least we should finish in the top six of a division in over 4 decades.

Neither can Wigan, they were 3-0 up and only drew 3-3. And lots of people were tipping them for the title. I'm no optimist but I would not give up on automatic promotion just yet.

Still in the mix with Mogga planning to bring players in to strengthen the squad. Don't think its time for people to start giving up yet. Get a result on Saturday and things are looking decent.

They have yes and they are in a great position. But we are still 1 win off top. We beat burton Saturday and could be too come Saturday night.

Disappointing night although I'd have taken the draw in the end. Roll on Saturday.

So gutted to only gain a point when we deserved all 3. First half we were fantastic and should've finished them off. Walsall were in awe at times.

Cole should've remained on the pitch as we appeared to lose our way when he went off. Walsall exploited our only weakness in both Haynes and Phillips, both of which are not good enough for a top end league one side.

A point isn't the end of the world and 3 points on Saturday against Burton will get us back in the mix. Great entertainment yet again.

I don't think Walsall were that good. Southend were better I think.
