Probably worth watching the whole piece and not the bit that's been clipped to evoke rage.
The debate was around the response to incidents like this on social media from people wishing to use them for political gain. That significant information is held back to present the version of events the person presenting them wishes. An example they gave was Charlie Kirk asserting that this was a racial attack and that it was not being reported on, despite being all over the media, because it was a black person murdering a white person and not the other way round despite there being no evidence the attack was racially motivated.
This was then a discussion around how the lack of mental health services, and / or lack of engagement with available services, have led to horrific incidents such as this. A quick google suggests CNN is far from the only place this link has been made in this instance.
