I can only think of two places I've ever worked that didn't have mixed bathrooms, was never an issue.

Similarly I recall when I was living in Portsmouth and they opened a new swimming pool the changing rooms were mixed, again it was a non-issue.

As with leaving the EU it seems to have become and issue when people have been fed a stream of targeted social media campaigns.

Personally I think the people you want to keep out of changing rooms of any type are sex offenders, child molesters etc.

They have a women’s only swimming session at the Warwick uni pool on a Friday afternoon and I forgot and wandered into the pool. There were no signs up!! The lifeguard came over and apologetically said it’s women’s swimming only. I was mortified, I was gonna try the we’re all women voice but thought better of it

When your entire political culture becomes geared around not just debating your opponents but vilifying and humiliating them, then this kind of violence - while never justified - does seem grimly inevitable.

This is it in a nutshell isn't it. Within literally seconds of any event happening, affecting left or right, people are politicising and trying to make gains from it without a second thought for the victim(s) or their friends & family. People desperate to get explicit and disturbing footage online as fast as possible anywhere they can to whip up outrage while they seek to place blame.

What is the endgame here because the way they're pushing it will end up in a literal civil war. You can't just assume it's a 'civilised' society and therefore can't end up in a state of never ending conflict we see elsewhere.
