So the council can offer something to the football club that has no value really as we (the club) can't access any revenues.
The council can offer the freehold with the existing lease in place and / or a 50% stake in ACL. I believe they have said they will listen to any serious offers for either. The unencumbered freehold is virtually impossible for them to offer, that would require ACL to negotiate cancellation of all their contracts (with compensation payable to tenants) and then CCC to do the same with ACL. Of course there is nothing to stop SISU bidding for 100% of ACL and the encumbered freehold and then negotiation the cancellation of any contracts in place themselves.
It appears to me that we've ended up with SISU asking for something that can't really be offered as every time they're asked for something that can be offered they have been offered it and then had to reject it as it wasn't what they were really after!
