If anybody is going to watch England at the World Cup enjoy it as I can’t see England doing anything as idiot Southgate has just said that they are building for the future, I am sure they said this before. The only chance they have is to remove him before the summer and bring in a real manager and one who has actually won something

Gomez, why?

I don't understand why we choose 4th choice defenders just because they play for a big club.

We should be picking players on form, even if they play for weaker teams.

They tried. We didn’t have to and still won. We didn’t really get out of second gear. They’re pants. Slovakia, Slovenia and Scotland looked better than them. Wouldn’t put a single one of their team in ours or the three sides mentioned above based on what we’ve watched tonight. A win is a win I suppose.

They are out there. Clement has a proven track record. If not him Southgate should bury the hatchet and bring Round back in.
