I understand where your coming from but we hear that all the time tbh.

If we got a non League team or if we truly didn't care about going out to even orem of champ teams we could play likes of

Dovin
Woolfenden
Lati
Bidwell
KKH
Eccles
Allen
Andrews
Brau
Simms

And that's before we think about new strikers

The extra game time could be invaluable for alot of those
Lower league team sure, I just have in mind what that long cup run did to our top 6 push. The autos however are different, I wouldn’t be upset at an early exit if it got us some more points later on.

We’ve never been in auto contention in this league at that stage of the season is the difference.

I think it's too easy to say the fa cup run derailed playoffs. Another team could have used it as a catalyst to return to Wembley and play those games every week.

We let ourselves down wether that was players manager or both. I don't think they instantly got fatigued after the fa cup semi

New signings remember too. Game time for everyone is good

Lets hope for a favourable draw

It's tricky because I like cup runs but I also understand rotating and in a season like this with how its shaping up I can't say I'd be too upset bowing out early. I do really hate getting embarrassed though, the Wrexham game for example I was fuming with Robins and the players, we got that badly wrong.

I do think that a lot was invested physically and mentally into that game and the way we were robbed at the end left them with nothing in the tank.

Yes a couple of rounds where even a heavily rotated team could make it through would be nice.

I have a lot of affinity for the FA Cup overall, it’s a great competition. But if we’re still in and around the top 2 come January, this is the one time I say I’m not bothered about going out.

If we win league and fa cup we will be in Europa league next year and could win that in 25/26 season

Think big! Nothing is impossible anymore for us!

Keep Rudoni rested until we've secured a top 2 place, then play him to help us secure the title. Sometime around mid-January, on that basis.

Has to earn his place back imo. And I think Rudoni is enough of a consummate professional to realize and understand that.

Well at least we can give Rudoni the time needed to get fully fit whilst the team are getting results 👍

Could Rudoni come back in and play deeper, no8 role?

Of course he could, because he is that talented, but he'd be wasted in that position. 🤔

Based on previous selections, Lampard will probably bench Tats and play EMC left, BTA right and Rudoni central.
That said, Lampard will likely introduce Rudoni slowly and from the subs bench, as long as the results are good.

Its a nice problem to have and a problem any manager in this league would want. He will be given maximum time of recovery and have to come off the bench id assume once ready.

No reason to rush him back just let him heal naturally. Think its shoulder related, but not really any benefit to announce details of the injury to anyone outside the club.

Ease him back in then play whoever Lampard thinks best suits the opposition.

The emergence of BTA has given us a lovely headache in those forward positions, being greedy I want another body at least though. It's a long way to go and the pitches will start deteriorating soon.

BTA has played a lot of games and been away with Ghana. Nice to have the depth to rest him a few games on from here.

I think the trick will be to rest him when his form dips, not until he’s anywhere near that. I wonder if he’ll go to Ghana in November given that he only had a few minutes on the pitch last time.
