I have excited butterflies today, never thought I would see us back in premier league. I am sure I'll be in tears later, just wish my mum and dad were still with us to see this, they were massive cov fans. My dad use to tell me about the 1967 promotion and how he sneaked through a fence to get in the ground to see the final game. They would have loved today, well the whole season. PUSB

Norwich to beat Ipswich would cap the day off very nicely.

I think my first game was in 76-77 after we persuaded Dad to take us to a game a month. Dodging flying bricks and boots on the way out was quite frightening for a 10 year old kid.

Could not sleep last night - got up and watched old YouTube videos of us over the years and for the first time watched the playoff final this is the first time I felt I could watch that match. Put that ghost to bed now

When I was a young lad I started to get interested in football, I got picked for all my school teams as a goalkeeper from 4th year of juniors all the way until I left school in the 70's, I thought I was the only Coventry supporter ( clearly not a glory supporter) until I met a guy in the senior school who also supported the city, gradually I met a few more 1 of our teachers Mr Griffiths (top teacher) gave me a ticket to go and watch us beat the mighty Bayern Munich, I was there to watch the 'flipper' and held a season ticket for a few years in the Prem got my son to ditch Chelsea and dragged him into supporting the mighty Sky Blues, it was nearly all down down down and I felt a little guilty of engraving Sky Blues in his heart but the past few years its been an absolute pleasure to see the joy the City have brought not just to him but all the young and old alike and now we are on the verge of returning to the hallowed land...

Being born and living the majority of my life around the black country I often was the butt of Wolves fans jokes around my team.

I got a taste of the bragging rights after the FA Cup win, but now to fully have them is unbelievable.

Thanks to my Dad and Grandad for forcing the sky blue blood into my veins. I distinctly remember one time we played Newcastle when it was freezing and we lost and thinking whats the point. How that all pails in insignificance now.

Been thinking about my Dad this week , he came to Coventry in 1960 and watched his first game at Highfield within a week or two of settling in. He would take my 2 older brothers to games he took me to my first game in 1983 and I was hooked . He ran coaches to away games from his pub whilst he was in the trade . I have a great photo with me and him with the Fa cup at an open day at Ryton in 87 He passed away the day after we beat Wolves to get to the semi final. I miss him dearly and know he would have a tear in his eye today. In all the years of watching city though I only ever seen him get genuinely excited to see one player on the ball and that was Darren Huckerby he said he was the most exciting player he had seen since Tommy Hutchinson

My dad was 80 last week & he genuinely didn’t think he’d see us back in the top division. I’m 60 next month & had my doubts too!
Can’t wait to meet up with him again for a celebratory beer. My brother has managed to get a ticket & is taking dad up for the Portsmouth game, fingers crossed we’re champions too after that match.

Grew up in Shropshire and all my mates (other than the plastic mancs) were Wolves fans.

In the 70’s the 2 games each year against them were such massive affairs for me.
