Sounds like a few on here are really quite apathetic to the on going demise, their only defence to inaction being it should be aimed at Wasps and the Council as well. Those latter two are only products of the gross negligence of the club by it's incompetent and culpable owners. I fucking hate these hedge fund bastards but also condemn both CCC and the franchise shits from London but it's SISU that own and control the club, only THEY can offer us to the market in hope of a suitable buyer before they destroy us altogether, no one else !

Oh have a day off. Nobody forced the council to make a deal with Wasps.

They had the nerve to ask away fans to boycott Sixfields matches yet attended the first Wasps' game in Coventry. That was the moment I knew I was no longer a Trust fan. Jan even said why should the Trust give a "fuck" about Wasps' existing fans.

Yep, also said if any ccfc fans went to watch ccfc if we moved to Bermuda park would be selfish.

Just after waxing lyrical to the press about their game and saying who cares about their fans.

Would that be the season we only had 3/4 of a ground whilst the "Kop" was flattened to build the new stand?

"Following the 'Taylor Report’ in 1990 City, with almost 18,000 seats out of a capacity of 26,000, were well placed to meet the report’s recommendations that all top division grounds should be all-seater by August 1994. The Sky Blues were founder members of the Premiership in 1992 and in the summer of 1993, work commenced on the new East Stand and the team played its home games to a three-sided stadium for one season whilst the new stand rose from the wreck of the flattened Kop."

Yes, the capacity was 17k, the gate was still some way below it. What's your point caller? It sounds a bit better I suppose to be 59% the reduced capacity. It would have been less than 50% of the seasons either side of it.
People did not stop going just because the East Stand was being rebuilt. I was at plenty of games at Highfield Rd that had similar gates.[/QUOTE]

Did you ever go to HR when all entrance to the ground was "ALL TICKET" making it almost impossible for most fans to get to the ground to buy a ticket?... This went on for quite a few years.

And nobody forced the City to be taken to Sixfields to the echo's of "We've played our last game at the Ricoh" and "That ship has long sailed"

Yes, I remember a number of 'all ticket' games. What it meant was that you had to go the match day ticket office rather than pay on the gate. For a match with a 10409 gate all ticket or not is irrelevant though really.

Your right. Wasps made similar statements about staying in London. Sisu and moonstone are cut from the same cloth. Therefore to not look silly, we should treat them similarly.

Is this not the common ground amongst fans? Is it not something we all agree on? CCFC and wasps should never have been moved. Particularly for financial gain.

I personally believe, if everyone was targeted in this sorry mess, sisu would be more concerned. We should go after anyone that has a detrimental effect on our football club. That anyone who does will have the full force of our fan base against them. That no matter who or what you are nobody is damaging our football club. Just my opinion.

FP stated we had "Low Gates" and tried to imply apathy on behalf of the Fans. I informed him but, obviously not you, about how hard it was for fans to get tickets during the week, and it was NOT as simple as he says about getting them from ticket office on the day. FFS the Ricoh can't handle a late attendance(Look at the disaster the "Return to the Ricoh" caused the ticket office, what fooking chance did HR have!

It's just that originally you cited the east stand being closed as the reason for poor attendance. Then when that was shot down it became that Highfield Road almost impossible to get into. Hence the goals moving.

Here you go mate, have a look...
In 1981, the controversial decision was taken to convert Highfield Road into England’s first all-seater stadium and 8,000 extra seats were installed at a cost £400,000 reducing the capacity, at a stroke, from 36,500 to 20,600.

This unanimously unpopular decision was intended, amongst other things, to deter hooliganism but instead it alienated the home fans and, with every game all-ticket, it became harder for fans to attend. Attendances dropped as performances on the pitch deteriorated and the failed experiment accelerated Jimmy Hill’s resignation as chairman. The seats were ripped out of the Kop in 1985 and the end partially rebuilt to allow a better view and an increased capacity.

Following the 'Taylor Report’ in 1990 City, with almost 18,000 seats out of a capacity of 26,000, were well placed to meet the report’s recommendations that all top division grounds should be all-seater by August 1994. The Sky Blues were founder members of the Premiership in 1992 and in the summer of 1993, work commenced on the new East Stand and the team played its home games to a three-sided stadium for one season whilst the new stand rose from the wreck of the flattened Kop.

I had merely stated that the gate was 10,409 on that Sunday afternoon in the Premier League. You assumed it was a put down. That assumption then led you to defend the gate based firstly on the fact that a stand was closed, then on a chance that the match might have been all ticket.

You really are a card, stay off the altar wine.

SISU 'Concerned'..........are you for real ! They couldn't give a fiddlers fuck about anything other than profit !
The council betrayed the football club and it's fans by selling to Wasps but only after intense provocation and the hedge fund stating they were off for at least 3- 5 years and building stadium la la land, the lying twats............Wasps can just fuck off the Cuckoos !

while I agree with pretty much everything you say there will never be consensus about how much the council have fucked the club over until sisu have left.
If, as I suspect, CCC don't roll over to help the new owners then everyone will see them for what they are.
If they do, then the likes of me and you will have been wrong and it was just a beef with sisu all along.
But the first step has to be sisu going.

He's got clues to work on, so let him search. I'm sure the CPS would be chomping at the bit to recommend this prosecution was in the public interest, the poor little lamb.
