Temper temper? Embarrassing? I'm not the one calling people juvenile names on the internet. You obviously agree with me about what I am saying about our squad because despite me asking the question you have decided to be the one to resort to calling me a dick and paranoid. But if that is all you have as a comeback to my points I raise about our squad then fine, shows what you know about football too.

I'm juvenile, your pompous, so what?

If you can read properly you will see that in an earlier post, I stated that I disagreed with what you said, so clearly you ignored this to act like a juvenile yourself to claim that I know nothing about football. The fact that you were blinded by childish anger at what someone said about you on the internet is clearly embarrassing. What next your dad is bigger than my dad.

Feel free to argue on and on to prove your point, your anger offers me great entertainment. Oh and so sorry to offend your sensibilities by using the term dick when describing you. I should have used pompous, which if you look back over different threads I have pointed out before, but on this occasion couldn't be bothered so used dick instead.

we have not had a season without a friggen pts deduction yet in league one.

derailed playoff hopes twice and sapped momentum/focus at critical times.

next year if council dont hurt the club to hurt sisu we might have a chance of promotion.

What were your hopes first season down? Before March do you think we were performing?

Robins got a lot of praise, as has Pressley, but add back in the points and I'm not sure we're doing that much better than expected TBH.

McGoldrick and Clarke were top strikers in this league. The kids are light years ahead of most L1 academy kids, then add in the likes of Baker, McSheffrey, etc. Alright they didn't play well, but that's kind of my point. All last season (and bits of this) we had opposition managers complaining about the quality of our squad, it seems to me that most recognise it as one of the better ones in the division.

If you study the rest of the best in this league (leaving out the top 2) then yes we certainly are better than a lot of those. The problem people seem to have is dismissing the fact that other teams face similar difficulties or even worse with their squad situations. How many teams in this league would snap up some of our players if available? Quite a few I should imagine.
We have a decent squad and has been proven by form displayed over the season. Had we not been the unfortunate recipient of a 10 point deduction I wonder how much more effort would have been given to get promotion or at least a play off place? In fact we are in a playoff place now had we got our 10 points?
Don't be so dismissive of your team. They have a good manager and I don't see anyone leaving this year. Look at Tranmere, shooting above their weight last year and failing at the end but now struggling? Would you leave to go somewhere like that or stick with what you know is a good base at Coventry and the likelihood of a good season next year? It has nothing to do with the off field situation either.

The 10 points can be argued both ways. Last season we'd already fallen off the playoff wagon before Sisu put us into admin, I'm not sure we were showing playoff form, more like top 10. Similarly, we were in reach of the playoffs this season even with the 10 point deduction and we dropped off.

'Friends' for fuck sake! Nobody has friends on here. Some people talk sense more often than not so get a like for their post. Some people talk relentless bollocks and as there isn't a dislike button get nothing.

I'll leave it to others to decide who is talking bollocks in this thread though. I've made my mind up.
I love to see people who really know their forumming.

True, but without the deduction we'd still be in with a shout despite what many on here seem to think has been a poor season.

That's my point though, I think we've had a decent season too, but are we just limiting our expectations after years of being crap? Is 6th place in L1 actually a good result for a club like us?

I don't know. And frankly, if we got up by scraping 6th it'd soon be forgotten. Just trying to scrape away some of the crap and judge the team impartially.

True, but apart from Wilson none of the other kids at the minute look standout in this league, even fleck faded badly since December, Adams has been pretty consistent but has struggled at time. Plenty moan about Thomas and Clarke, Christie been pretty average this season, and that's before you consider Willis, Phillips and Daniels who are all really in their first proper season in and around the first team.

Next season will be the real test of how good a lot of these kids are, can they maintain and improve on this season?

I think we've had a great season, but there's still plenty room for improvement and we still struggled to find fluency since Clarke left.

For a club with our history then no. For this team at this time under the current circumstances then a top six finish in this league is a real achievement.

It wouldn't work in real life, you wouldn't be able to pick up on spelling mistakes or grammatical errors.
And can't just respond saying "like" when you agree with someone. It would be shambolic.

Also, I can't bring shit gifs to the boozer.
