Do you think a hard re-set and re-build is on there?

See if someone like Carolina will take Kirk, load up on draft picks for anybody with value.

Needs a retool rather than a complete tear down - 7 losses by a single score.
Can't carry Cousins on his current deal as there's no money left for anybody else. Could be tradeable - Denver, Pittsburgh, Carolina, Cleveland to name 4. But this year's draft looks pretty grim for QBs but maybe a stop-gap (cheaper) or Mond can come in.

They went into this season genuinely believing they were contenders and had spent a lot of free agency money on short deals on the defense. But then let Zimmer appoint to rookies as OC and DC. Kubiak as OC was a disaster - a really talented offensive roster was wasted with poor game planning and play calling. Zimmer knew it was a make or break season but put his future in the hands of his son and his close friend's son. Apparently young Kubiak is being blamed in the dressing room for the season failures.

We have no idea about how good some of the younger players are as Zimmer just refused to play them. We've got a 3rd round QB, LB, OG and DE (all areas of need) that saw hardly any playing time as Zimmer just didn't trust rookies. And it seems like he sidelined them in training as well.

Spielman and Zimmer were never on the same page since Spielman extended Cousins against Zimmer's wishes - and Zimmer was right. Spielman used to draft well but has blown 5 out of the last 7 1st round picks and messed about drafting quantity over quality.

Vikings still a good job for Head coaches - stable ownership, great facilities and a lot of talent on offense.

Texans really are a joke. Culley never had a chance and 4 wins with that roster was a pretty impressive achievement. Now we'll see who they really wanted in the first place

Bills just dismantled the Patriots. Allen had all day to throw.

Watching Burrow and Allen was so much fun yesterday.

I want a franchise QB.

Me too!!!!!!!! - on a rookie contract
Burrow 8 million. Allen10 million cap hit 2022
Burrow 10 million.Allen16 million cap hit 2022
Gets ugly for Allen from 2023 but it's given the Bills 4 years to build a roster to put them in contention for at least a couple of years.
Bengals were able to go out and retool their defense through free agency and put themselves in the play-offs and they've got 2 really good WRs, a decent O line and RB through the draft.
No team has ever won a Super Bowl with a QB accounting for more than 13% of the cap.

I live for Cowboys self sabotage.

Another great game. Seemed like SF was going to run away with it then Dallas fought its way back and for a while neither team seemed to want to win.

Now we're talking. Tasty fixtures. Could make a case for all of those teams winning.

Murray was under pressure wasn't he? Both the situation and the Rams pressure. They have all the tools but I sincerely hope the Rams fuck it up along the way.

Rams stopped Stafford throwing the ball because he's been throwing too many interceptions at the end of the regular season. The run game was okay without being spectacular. So key is to stop the run and force Stafford to throw.
Buccs -Rams interesting match up as that Rams secondary is good so Brady will need to be at his best particularly if Wirfs is out. Buccs will need their RBs back.

Bills, Chiefs is going to be a cracker.
I think the Bucs having home field advantage may be the deciding factor.

Bengals Titans probably the weakest matchup. I'd expect whoever wins out of Buffalo and Kansas to go to the bowl, can't call that game though.

I think Bucs having home field will clinch it too, particularly with the extra days rest and LA having to travel across country. I think GB will comfortably beat SF though.

The Chiefs may have to curtail Allen's runs in order to win the game I think. Stop him, you stop the Bills.

I would have lost money on the playoffs yesterday. Did not see the Bengals and 49ers making it through. Just watched the highlights. Sacks a plenty in both games. Crazy finishes too, it's why the nfl is great.

I could actually see it. Not saying that's what I predicted, but thought both were in with a decent chance, what with Burrow for the Bengals and the 49's defence.

The Packers and the Titans were clear favourites though weren't they.

Tonight I think it will be the Rams and Bills pull through, unless the Chiefs are able to stop Allen. Shut down Josh Allen's QB runs and they win the game.

I think the Bucs just have too many star players missing unfortunately.

I am now thinking Rams to probably win the whole thing. Just for that defence.

Rams v Bills final, though I am rooting for both KC and Tampa tonight.

2 number 1 seeds self-destruct.
Don't think I've seen a QB performance like Burrows. Sacked 9 times yet never backed down and played an incredible game.
Buccs Rams going to be about protecting the QB. Stafford not great under pressure and no Wirfs leaves Brady having to watch for Donald & Miller. If Rams can get a run game going could be an upset.
Bills Chiefs going to be about big game temperament. On paper it should be the Bills (more complete team) - still a lot of holes on that Chiefs team.

Going to be a big rebuild for the Packers - 1st time in 30 years they may not have an elite QB, no cap space (even if Rodgers isn't there). Going to lose good players even if they franchise tag an unhappy Adams.

I think GB need to call it a day now and get on a hard reset.

Burrow is just absolutely fantastic to watch. If Washington hadn’t picked up one meaningless win then it could have been us.

If the Bengals sort that line out in the draft and FA then there could be no stopping them.

Highlights what you can do if you find that rookie contract QB. Bengals retooled that defense with the money Burrow saved them.
Packers got cap issues even more so if they try and find a way of keeping Rodgers - but I think Rodgers will retire if they don't "honour" the agreement to let him go. Packers going to ask a lot but probably not get as much as they think. For all the talent teams going to be wary that he's stable/reliable enough to see out a long contract on what would be a huge contract.

This first possession huge for Rams to keep the door closed on the Buccs. That fumble could still be huge.

Mad that you can't say it's game over already. You just can't rule Brady out can you?
