It’s even worse UK to EU. Who’d have thought that putting up barriers to trade with your largest trading partner would damage your trade with them. Still, what about that Australia trade deal hey. We just need 2000 of them now to replace what we’ve lost with the EU.

Remember when we had to leave the EU because we were full

On the plus side, its visas so atleast theres some sort of count now..its sort of "controlled" in that respect...

...as opposed to eu freedom of movement which was so out of control, even the pro-remain pressure group "the 3 million" were shocked when nearly 5.5 million eu citizens applied to remain....and that was just those that applied...."the 7 million" may have been a better name for their organization.

...no wonder the wage suppression (that officially didn't exist in the pre-Brexit era) has been smashed to fuck.....

We always had the option to register EU migrants. Successive governments chose not to.

Successive governments chose not to bother with it.
When moving to Italy I had to show a contract of employment, passport and a property contract to live here beyond 3 months and access healthcare etc. It was confirmed once the local police had visited the property to confirm my identity.

Indeed.....and because the politicians from all sides continually refused to listen to the real world concerns of the working man, preffering instead to listen to the biased/weighted/fabricated horseshit arguments neatly packaged into soundbites by the "policy advisors" it created a perfect vacuum where NO-ONE represensted the youth, the trades, the poor, the working classes, or the disenfranchised for a good decade.......

...and when finally Labour was rudely awoken from its tory-lite sleep walk with the shock election of Corbyn/McDonnell.......the pair of cowardly fence-sitters shit their pants & refused to stand up for what they actually believed in.

Cunts. The lot of them. I'll never vote again.

Another brexit windfall. Checks notes. Actually no, the EU repealed this law in June 2021 so brexit actually delayed the repeal of this. Nice try though Gwant.

Remember when the experts told us we hold all the cards

No… wait. The experts called it but we’d had enough of experts. Now it’s May’s fault and the EU apparently held all the cards.

Should have listened to the experts fella

So basically the status quo for EU companies exporting to the UK hasn’t been changed by brexit whereas barriers have been put up for UK exporters into the EU. Still, at least Rees Mogg is now admitting that brexit is an exercise in self harm. We’ll call that progress.

So the thing he spent ages supporting and was in the government that put it in place is now absolutely not in our best interests.

He's now basically agreeing that all the stuff the people who he dismissed as idiots said was spot on.

How can you be proven wrong so often and yet still think the other lot are the stupid ones?

It's a vaguely respectable channel nowadays. Doesn't deal exclusively in Shannon Doherty soft porn movies anymore, instead goes for mydogoutofcontrol type programmes instead.

Although now Neighbours is ending, who knows where it'll get its haditsday soap operas from going forward...

Has your mate Jezza every day as well

Give her her due. She has an unshakable confidence that she's talking sense no matter how often she's been proven to be talking bollocks.
Who the hell is briefing her. Are they doing it deliberately knowing she’s not over any of the details to embarrass her. Maybe she spouts the first thing that comes into her head rather than admit she doesn’t know the detail. Either way she is probably the least suitable person to be in parliament let alone hold a ministerial position. Her only qualification seems to be she once went on a reality TV show. When she was supposed to be in parliament. I wonder if JRM left a note on her desk while she was awol for weeks the other side of the world with absolutely no access to the tools she would have needed to do her job remotely.

I think if you had the tiniest understanding of what an atrocious derogatory term that is you wouldn’t have posted it in the first. I would certainly hope not anyway. Best thing you can do is delete it.

I think he does understand. He's a pissed soaked racist tramp.

Well Tony has in the past been known to make the odd irish nationalist slur of course and frankly if it’s at IRA o day he’s fair game for every insult under the sun
