We will see after the GE.

Waste of time trying to prove anything to someone who doesn't want to admit to the truth.

I'm guessing that we are all now on the same page here... Brexit is happening full stop.

We have to try and pull together and make it work... Arguing and fighting won't solve our problems.

New future for Britain

I imagine there will be a backlash when levels of immigration don’t actually change, especially as ROTW migration into Britain has increased to make up for the reduction in the EU migration.

And then there’s the fact that for the likes of Johnson, Patel, Rees Mogg etc Brexit has never been about bridging the gap between London and the rest of the country.

It’s happening - the debate seems almost meaningless from this point on.

Boris owns this - it’s all on him now.

No Deal is absolutely not off the table. In fact it's quite likely.

The Tory manifesto commits the UK to leaving without a deal if a trade deal with the EU isn't agreed by December 2020.

It took Canada 10 years to negotiate a trade deal with the EU.

Well I didn’t as you assumed a shrinking economy whereas the stats you showed were not a shrinking economy - honestly if you are so dumb you don’t get the analysis I can’t be bothered

And you posted some crap about the IFS when they stated the best economic result for the UK is would be to revoke.

And the economy recently shrunk for the first time in 7 years, and we haven't even left yet.

But anyway, back to the point at hand, No Deal is very much on the table.

I actually think now he has a majority, his arbitrary deadline hands power in the negotiations to the EU, and like with the withdrawal agreement Boris will drop his red lines when it gets to squeaky bum time, and we will end up staying in the single market, with really close alignment in a Norway Plus type arrangement. Taking the rules with no say on them.

There'll be a stitch-up between the two sides to make it look like a "Brexit" when there isn't one.

Wasn't we supposed to have gone straight into recession if we voted leave three and a half years ago? This was called by the same experts you still like to try and quote.

They are just like yourself. Experts at putting forward their own views as a fact. But it isn't a fact. It is loudest voice puts their view over the most. But most people are not thick. Just like those praising Corbyn all the time. He even got praised fir getting defeated in 2017.

This won't be easy.

Just like I have said all along I can't see us leaving fully. The EU needs our money. We need the trade with the EU short/medium term. We might leave......But it will take years to sort out. This means no trade deals around the world as we would be stuck with the EU rules. No trade deals allowed.

To get trade deals around the world and to have a trade deal with the EU everything that comes to the UK would have to adhere to EU rules. It wouldn't be easy. And we have seen that it is a very hard institution to leave.

All I can see is many more years of bullshit ahead.

It's going to be so easy for Boris to blame the EU you would think. It will be 'well, I did my bit', it's now down to the rest of Europe.

And here we go again.......

We heard for so long that Corbyn was the man to lead Labour to victory. We heard hiw he was doing it the right way. Nobody will admit that they were wrong yet will come out with many more wrong predictions and allegations while collecting pats on the back for being correct when they are not.

I had nothing to do with this GE. Knew before it was called how it would go. Left at 5am election day to join my family in France. Wasn't even worth checking the result. It was always going to be a bad result for us.

So who do we blame now?

Who is blameless?

How about the 'thick' voters?

And yeah the EU are blameless for everything......

Just saying, his said he will get it done and it ain't that easy.

Very easy for him to blame the EU for everything in terms of delay now.

We still have lots of infighting even within the Tory Party as to what kind of Brexit we want.

The amount of infighting is irrelevant - he can shale it however he wants with such a large majority and an influx of new MPs

And so it should be, being ready willing & able to walk away from any negotiation is a vital option because it levels the playing field somewhat

So would we believe a liar on who is to blame?

It is our parliament that has held it back so far. Now it should move quicker until there is more involvement from the EU.

Maybe it will be the EU that employs delaying tactics. Maybe it will be the Tories. Maybe it will be the Remainers. We can't say who is innocent of all charges or guilty of everything until it happens. But many will do so. Same old really.

Bill to block further delay to Brexit process

This is a great move by Boris, puts pressure on to negotiate the best deal possible after Jan! Years and years of extensions would play into the EU's favour!
