Are you going to finally admit that Brown killed off final salary pensions when you just blame my generation for it? Just like you just blame my generation for Bliar going to war on a lie.
But as this would be a new method of dealing with inheritance intestacy rules could be changed so that an independent body would be appointed by a court. It wouldn't focus on no-will estates - it would be on all estates. I merely mentioned intestate as it would be a grey area that would need to be accounted for in legislation.
In such unbelievably rare and specific cases such as that an exceptional circumstances claim could be sent through the courts, fast-tracked if necessary if there is an imminent threat to their life.
Before you say that could leave it open to abuse, there is never a perfect piece of legislation and a false claim would be fraud.

And yes you are right - Brown did kill off those pensions, and I imagine the Tories would have done the same if in power at that time.
I understand you wanting to protect your pension... but are you planning on taking it at 65 or 75?

I am planning on taking it at 55. Still have nearly 3 and half years to go. All that time of being over 800 miles away from my wife and 3 youngest kids. They went at the end of June.
Where have I ever said I want a Tory government? I want a Labour government. But I want someone I can have faith in. Blind faith isn't good enough. Look what happened with Bliar.
McDonnell plans to spend hundreds of billions in 5 years. That is a lot of borrowing and a lot of new tax increases. I am worried.

Never defended the EU :shifty::smuggrin:Most of the so called defence of labour is people picking up G for constantly throwing “but labour” out against any criticism of the tories.
It’s like this idea that I am Mart. I don’t think I’ve ever defended the EU. I’ve mainly pointed out bullshit and hyperbole in the Brexit arguments.

'Even if Brown did cause the damage to pensions' was the best admission I could ever get from you. But you then ended up with making out it was the fault of my generation for what Bliar and Brown did.You miss the wider point. Collectively your generation messed up. You brought up Gordon Brown ages ago-I didn’t deny him being to blame but you went on for ages as though I had and then again here.
Guessing that this is related to the idea that nobody allows criticism of Labour so they wouldn’t allow Brown to be criticised for anything. Again it’s like you have the same reply lined up regardless of what it is you’re responding to.

We have a generational inequality issue, as well as a top 10% v everyone else issue, as well as a housing issue.
